I have dark circle with sunken eyes I tried so many home remedies for dark circle but it dint go away what to do now ?

Currently, there are 3 types of clinical procedures to get you rid of dark circles. Read ahead to learn more:

  1. Bleaching creams: They lighten the hyperpigmentation underneath your eyes.

  2. Advanced treatments:
    • Laser therapy: Where heat produced by intense light beam vaporizes damaged cells underneath your eyes.
    • Chemical peel: A concoct of skin-nourishing acids. which is applied to your skin and peeled off later on to remove all impurities.

  3. Minimally invasive techniques:
    • There is also a surgical technique to remove fat from your lids if the cast of their shadow is the culprit behind your dark circles, which is known as blepharoplasty.
    • And otherwise you can also inject certain acids into the tissues under your eyes, as recommended by trained specialists, so as to overcome volume loss under your eyes which could have contributed to dark circles as well, they are referred to as fillers.

You can also refer our list of dermatologists in India, to get in touch with qualified practitioners and find out more about the above-mentioned options.

With every specialist, discuss these things at length:

  • Past experiences & success rates.
  • Common side effects & risks of such procedures.
  • Pre-treatment preparations & post-treatment care.
  • Candidate eligibility to undergo these treatments.
  • Correction course in case you run into risks &/or achieve undesirable outcomes.
  • Detailed information of how they will perform advanced treatments & minimally invasive surgeries.

Hi good evening.i want hair transplant .can u give me some suggestions please . thanks.

  • This surgery wouldn't require hospitalization, but will take hours and may need multiple sessions too.
  • The cost of hair transplant ranges from Rs. 25 to Rs. 45 per graft, which is inclusive of tax as well. And each graft will consist of approximately 1 to 3 hair follicles.
  • So for 3,500 grafts, it should cost you rs 87,500 in the least. But incurred charges may differ from our estimated prices, because factors such as experience/location of surgeon, facilities/infrastructure of clinic, and whatever complications that your hair/scalp presents with, will have a pivotal role in determining the resultant charges.
  • For transgender individuals and those with curly hair, this procedure might present unique challenges as well.
  • Hair transplant is supposed to be permanent, but hair will shed and grow depending on its phases, just like how your natural hair does.
  • To understand price differences owing to distinct surgical techniques and city-wise impact, our writeup can be extremely helpful for you - Cost of Hair Transplant in India.
  • Additionally, our page - Hair Transplant Surgeons, will help you get in touch with relevant practitioners.
  • Hair transplant is a surgery that involves extraction & transplantation of hair follicles from one spot to another, but assume if your donor's spot has extremely less hair to provide the required coverage for your balding spot, then you can also enquire regarding biofiber synthetic hair implants.
They are not permanent however, and may cost more, so find out about it.

I am getting lots of hair fall. Almost half of my hair falled during last 7-8 months

Since the hair loss seems rapid, you need to consult a Trichologist / Dermatologist in India on priority... To find out the exact cause of such rapid hair loss and based on the hair loss condition an appropriate treatment would be recommended.

I want to do crown hair transplant is it successful, bcoz I heard crown area is more difficult as compared front, bcoz of whorl

It's the most commonly observed phenomena, and the success rate of hair transplant surgery is in the range of 95%-98%.

They just require a larger volume of hair to cover up the balding spot, which is where the complication arises.

We are aware of the following clinical treatments as far as skin whitening is concerned:

  • Chemical peel (Rs. 1,800-10,000):

    • Common side effects include:
      • Redness & stinging.
      • Increased sensitivity to sun.
      • Scabbing and swelling.
    • Whereas the risks are:
      • Permanent scarring.
      • Pigmentation.
      • Damage to Heart, kidney, or liver.

  • Laser toning (Rs. 4,000-10,000):
    • Aims: This method will make use of an intense light beam to reduce melanin content in your skin. It will make your skin healthier and brighter than before and will help you overcome tanning and dark spots as well.
    • Common side effects include: Pain, discomfort, and stinging sensation.
    • Whereas the risks are: Pigmentation, scarring, and blistering.

  • Skin lightening Injections (Rs. 6,000-40,000):
    • Aim: Can detoxify the body, protect your skin from the harmful UV rays and improve your skin tone. It will utilize a dosage of glutathione, which can detoxify the body and serve as a barrier against harmful UV rays too.
    • Risks:
      • Kidney damage &/or blood poisoning
      • Nausea, breathing issues &/or chest pain
      • Rashes, allergic reactions, or hives.
      • Stomach infections &/or eye disorders.
      • Hair loss &/or hair Whitening.
      • Weight gain
      • Numbness
      • Postscript: Severity of symptoms can be reduced by supplying proper dosage.

  • Skin lightening products (Rs. 200-2,000): This option will provide you with a wide range of creams that have bleaching properties. These are good for instant gratification but may not deliver long-lasting results.

  • Note:
    • The actual cost may exceed the given range depending on - location/infrastructure of clinic, severity of concern, target area, thickness of skin, number of sessions, experience of clinician, and other value-added services provided by the clinic.
    • Except genitals or region surrounding eyes, you should be able to get these treatments done for other body parts, but please discuss this with the doctor as it could be highly specific.

I had my laser hair removal therapy for a year in 2019 for chin and neck. And maintenance sittings in 2020, like 1 sitting in 3 months. Sri I have lots of hair and thick growth in my chin area. Plz advise

  1. Laser hair removal treatment can slow down hair growth, but they don't provide permanent hair removal.
  2. Electrolysis, the only method recognized by FDA, can permanently remove hair and stop any regrowth, it can cost you anywhere between Rs 800 to Rs 5,000 per hour.
    • Cost of both treatments can vary, depending on doctor's choice of equipment, location, number of sessions, density of hair, body parts covered and their sizes, as well as infrastructure/other value-added services provided by the clinic.
  3. Temporary but commonly occurring side effects are pain, redness and swellings.
  4. But if not done properly, then can also lead to scarring, keloid scars and changes in skin color as well.

Cost of Hair Transplant in India lies somewhere around Rs. 25-45 per graft. With each graft containing 1 to 3 hair follicles.

So for 2,500 graphs the broad range of price should be ₹ 62,500 - ₹ 87,500.

But these estimates are subject to change as following factors could impact the rates as well:

  • the experience of clinician & technology used by them,

I am in between the age of 40 -45 i have very prominent smile line fold issue, saggy face skin, double chin, dark circle and pigmentation issues , i guess i need a skin tightening and youthful skin treatment or whatever will best the best, what should i go for and how much would it cost in jeddah or kolkata, kindly advise

  • For pigmented skin & dark circles these are the options:
    • OTC creams - apply creams with these ingredients on your spots (Rs. 200 to Rs. 2000):
      • Hydroquinone
      • Licorice extract
      • N-acetylglucosamine
      • Vitamin B-3 (niacinamide)
    • Chemical Peels (Rs. 1,000 to Rs. 10,000 per session): A solution containing certain acids which are beneficial for your skin, is applied to your skin and peeled off later on. These peels use acids of stronger, mild and moderate strength concentrations to treat the desired area of skin.
    • Laser therapy (Rs. 5,000 to Rs. 22,000 per session): Heat from intense light beam vaporizes damaged cells underneath your eyes.
      There are two types:
      • Ablative lasers: are intense and they remove layers of your skin, but they also make you prone to side effects.
      • Non-ablative lasers: target the dermis to boost collagen growth and tightening effects.

  • Additionally for pigmentation you also have these treatments:
    • Microdermabrasion (Rs. 1500 to Rs. 6000 per session): Treats the epidermis only (superficial scarring). During the treatment, your dermatologist will use a drill-like handheld appliance with a wire brush or some other abrasive as its attachment, to swipe over your skin. Same will eliminate epidermal scarring.
    • Dermabrasion (Rs. 1500 to Rs. 6000 per session): Involves the removal of your epidermis, but it also manages to reach to a part of your dermis. While dermabrasion smoothens out wrinkles, the procedure has been historically used to address texture-related concerns.

  • Additionally for dark circles you also have these treatments:
    • There is also a surgical technique to remove fat from your lids if the cast of their shadow is the culprit behind your dark circles, which is known as blepharoplasty (Rs 80,000 - Rs. 2,00,000 overall),
    • And otherwise, you can also inject certain acids into the tissues under your eyes, as recommended by trained specialists, so as to overcome volume loss under your eyes which could have contributed to dark circles as well, they are referred to as fillers (Rs. 40,000 to Rs. 60,000).

  • Skin tightening:
    • We implore you to read our blog, as it covers different clinical procedures and numerous options which use fillers/lasers to lift up skin and make it firm - Top Anti-Aging Treatment for skin.

  • Note: The actual cost can exceed the estimated range, it depends upon location/experience of clinician, infrastructure/other value-added services provided by a clinic, and severity of concern along with area covered.
