Doctor..... Brown discharge can happen for different reasons. It may refer to the old blood that is released or a symptom of implantation. Implantation bleeding is the phenomenon when a fertilized egg attaches to the uterus lining. Should the bleeding not increase and you are not experiencing any pain, it is nothing serious.
