Let’s read about Rose’s journey to Turkey and how ClinicSpots helped in that.

Rose Dawson, from South Sudan, had long been suffering from ortho and gallbladder problems.

It was not the same before. Rose had a cheerful and outgoing personality. She always used to be a happy-go-lucky kind of person. But when she started facing these issues, all the cheerfulness on her face went away.

Rose and her family were worried about her treatment for these issues, so they tried getting her treated in Sudan.

But due to a lack of medical facilities in Sudan, no proper treatment could be given to Rose.

She came across ClinicSpots through its Q&A platform, where she asked a few questions. Medically certified doctors and experts answered all her queries.

As she felt satisfied by the expert medical opinion to her queries, she contacted ClinicSpots for further information.. A Case Manager from ClinicSpots soon reached out to her.

Rose gave the case manager all the information related to her health and prior treatments.

She was soon connected with a doctor in Turkey. who, after learning about her condition, advised her to visit Turkey for further treatment

as Turkey offers affordable treatment with all the modern-day facilities, expert doctors and adequate modern equipment.

Our case manager soon shared with her a Visa Invitation Letter, and she boarded the plane to Istanbul, Turkey.

She came to Istanbul with one of her family members. The Case Manager from ClinicSpots was in contact with her all the time and helped her at all stages of her travel. The help being visa documents, passports, boarding passes, etc.

Once they arrived, Rose was taken to one of Turkey's best hospitals, Memorial Sisli, Istanbul. The case was allotted to Dr. Name, one of Turkey's most reputed doctors.

Rose had ortho and gallbladder problems. Before starting the treatment, the doctor recommended many tests to understand the severity.

The tests were as follows:

  • Endoscopy
  • Ultrasound
  • MRI test
  • Normal Blood Tests

Treatment Plan

Dr. Okan Özkunt decided to take the treatment further after the tests. After the diagnosis, it was found that she didn't need any form of orthopaedic or gallbladder surgery.

Furthermore, treatment can be cured by medication and physiotherapy..

Post Treatment Guidelines

Rose stayed in Turkey for her treatment for a total of 3 weeks. During those 3 weeks, she went through physiotherapy sessions. She was taught how to do those exercises when she returned to Sudan.

Dr. Dr. Okan Özkunt gave the post-treatment guidelines in which Rose must continue expert video consultation with the doctor through online platforms.

She was also asked to continue with her physiotherapy exercises at home.

Rose has continued with her physiotherapy. She no longer has ortho issues, and her gallbladder has been cured through medication.

Rose and her family are delighted that she is cured now. They were pleased with the responsive and prompt services by ClinicSpots and thanked the Case Manager for the same. They were also amazed at how convenient it was to get her treatment done in Turkey.
