Questions & Answers on "Gynaecology" (5022)

I need advice. Can anyone please help me. I am a female of age 20.My weight is 32 kg and height 5'2". tried to do medical abortion. I took 1 mifepristone by swallowing. After 24 hours- 800mcg misoprostol vaginally. And 3 hours after that 400mcg misoprostol vaginally and more 400mcg misoprostol with 3 hours interval. Took total 5 doses of misoprostol like this including the first dose of 800mcg. After that my gestational sac came out in the morning while i was sitting on toilet. But i did not bleed at all. My pregnancy tissues and placenta did not pass too as i did not bleed before or after passing the sac. The embryo was inside the fluid like white colored sac. I was 12 weeks pregnant. Its now 2 days and i did not bleed still. Should i wait for my bleeding to start? I took more misoprostol doses after my sac passed to start my bleeding but did not work. Will all the pregnancy tissues will come out naturally? Will my bleeding start naturally after some days? Will my pregnancy tissues and placenta pass if i wait? a doctor told me to use 2tab Co-Amoxiclav 625mg PO bid for 1week, 2tab metronidazole 400mg PO tid for 1week. this medicines are for infection. Also, do i have risks of having retained placenta issues such as hemorrhage? Or i don’t have the risk as i didn’t bleed at all yet? Will the placenta come out when bleeding will happen naturally after waiting ? i am confused and also very worried.

Female | 20

After a medical abortion, some women experience delayed bleeding or may not bleed at all initially. Retained tissue can lead to complications, so it's important to monitor your symptoms. Since you haven't bled yet, I recommend contacting your gynecologist for further evaluation. They may perform an ultrasound to check for retained tissue. The antibiotics prescribed are to prevent infection, which is essential during this time. Trust your healthcare team to guide you through this process and ensure your health is prioritized.

i am suffering form periods after very short time firstly afher 5 days again that continued till i had taken medicine to stop. now after 21 days again

Female | 43

Women may undergo variations in the menstrual cycle but if you are experiencing periods after a short time it is an indication of some other underlying problem. For further evaluation and diagnosis, I would suggest consulting a gynecologist. They will be able to administer treatments that are specifically tailored for your condition.

I got my last period on jan 2 and have been having unprotected sex since then today i took home pregnancy test and line at C is dark and line at T is faint also having brownish and red blood

Female | 23

Depending on your symptoms, it could be an implantation bleeding. However, to confirm pregnancy and rule out other potential issues, you should go see a gynecologist. I would suggest a visit to a specialist in obstetrics and gynecology for assessment and appropriate treatment.

A boy fingered me with his finger in which his penis watery liquid was there it was not sperm it was watery liquid and within 24hrs i took ipill and i am a pcod patient i got my last period on 25 October and i took ipill on 29th November 10:00am and the activities happened on 28th November 11:30.is there any chanceqs of pregnancy

Female | 21

THE WATERY LIQUID could contain SPERM.. PREGNANCY CHANCE EXISTS.. IPill reduces the chance of pregnancy, but not 100%.. Being a PCOD patient may increase the chance of pregnancy.. Wait for next period.. If missed, take a pregnancy test..Or consult a gynecologist now if you are concerned

I am 28 year female .i have some pregnancy related issues today doctor said beta hcg is very low after 14 days of confirmation and last period missed

Female | 28

If your beta hCG levels are low after 14 days of confirming you’re pregnant or after missing your period, this could be a problem. Some signs might be spotting, cramping, or not feeling as pregnant (sore breasts). An ectopic pregnancy or early miscarriage could cause the level of hCG to drop too much. Make sure to see your doctor again so they can check and tell you what next steps need to be taken.

I noticed that I was pregnant so I took the first abortion pills and still have the pregnancy symptoms and am feeling something inside my Belle

Female | 29

You should contact your gynecologist for a medical examination at your earliest convenience. Self-administration of the abortion pills could be incomplete and create several complications. The sensation that you have in your belly may be a result of an incomplete termination or some other medical disease.
