Ma'am my hair becomes thinner all over the head. I consulted with our family physician for treating androgenic alopecia and he prescribed me minoxidil. I have been under medication past 4 months but have not seen any positive results. What should I do now? Is there any other treatment for androgenic alopecia in women?

Answered on 29th Oct '22

Yes apart from minoxidil you can opt for other treatment and medications. But first of all you should consult a dermatologist for the proper diagnosis.

Hello,
As you are in the middle of thirties and facing hair loss from a very short span of time. You should consult a hair transplant surgeon and a dermatologist, who can give you the customized solution for your problem. This problem can be treated with the combination of medicine and some other hair regrowth treatment like root restore therapy. But if some of the area has become smooth in that case we can go for hair transplant procedure as well.

I am 25-year-old man I am at level 2 baldness now. I am facing severe hair loss since the age of 23. I have already tried medication and other treatments, none of them has really helped me.  I am thinking of doing hair transplant, would it help me and what which type of treatment should I go for?

Hi,
As you are in the grade 2 of baldness and already tried medication and other treatment, you should consult an experience clinic which can plan your hair journey. Since only hair transplant would not help you to get rid of from your problems. You need to do a combination of treatment as well as medicine to maintain your hair density for a longer duration.

You can visit at Dadu Medical Centre to get the customized solution of your problem .
