My wife had oral cance her treatment is going on CNCI Bhowanipur. But in my last visit this month the Doctors informed me there is no more treatment for her and refer for palliative care.Is there any hope for her?
Female | 42
In palliative care patients with serious illnesses are provided with comfort, pain relief and support with the goal of enhancing their quality of life. It does not mean that there is no hope, but doctors advice this when curative treatment are no longer available. If you're confused you can seek a second opinion from another oncologist.

Hello sir, my dad was diagnosed with bile duct cancer in October. He is currently 65 years old. He refused to treat because of the terrible adverse effects, and he believes he would have died due to the side effects. Is there any other approach to treat him so that he doesn't have to go through the trauma?

Please perform Whole body PETCT to know the actual condition and then you can consult a oncologist so he will guide your father for proper treatment for speedy recovery.

My mother suffering from stage 4 uterus cancer .. Malignancy
Female | 69
Stage 4 cancer means the cancer has spread beyond the uterus to other parts of the body. In fact, it's considered advanced. The exact cause of uterine cancer is not always clear, but factors like age, hormonal imbalances, and genetic predisposition can play a role. It's important to consult with an oncologist to discuss treatment options. They may recommend a combination of surgery, chemotherapy, and radiation therapy. Additionally, seeking emotional support for both your mother and your family can be beneficial during this time.

can you take hrt after breast cancer
Female | 33
After breast cancer hormone replacement therapy is usually not recommended. HRT needs careful consideration. It may not be suitable particularly if your cancer is sensitive to hormones. Having a thorough conversation with your oncologist about what suitable for you is most important.

You should consult with your mother’s oncologist about additional clarification and instructions for her uterine cancer in stage 3. It is recommended that a gynecologic oncologist should be visited for more management of uterine cancer.

But again rectal bleeding and severe pain started and there is wound pist radiotherapy just at bottom inside layer of anus.
Male | 33
It's possible that the wound from your radiotherapy treatment has not fully healed or that there may be other factors contributing to your symptoms. You should communicate openly with your doctor about your symptoms, concerns, and treatment history, as they will have the best understanding of your problems.

Her 2 POSITIVE Right Breast Cancer ,after Chemo sessions planned for surgery, how many methods of surgeries are available, is there any difference of methodology from other hospitals of Hyderabad to Tata Memorial one. want to have opinion for the surgery sir,
Female | 57
There are several different methods of surgery that can be used to treat right breast cancer. The most common treatments are mastectomy (removal of the entire breast), breast-conserving surgery, and lymph node dissection. The type of surgery for you will depend on the size and location of the tumor, the stage of the cancer, and the your individual preferences. The methodology for performing surgery at Tata Memorial Hospital is likely to be similar to that of other hospitals in Hyderabad. However, there may be slight differences due to the individual expertise and experience of the surgeons at each hospital. You discuss your options with your doctor and ask for their opinion on the best type of surgery for you.

Hello, I have a few questions as follows: 1. Which is the best treatment for Lymphoma cancer with stage 2? 2. Can Immunotherapy alone can cure my cancer completely? 3. What will be the side effects of Immunotherapy? 4. How do the blood tests help in monitoring the cancer progress? 5. Which treatment has a speedy recovery while comparing immunotherapy Vs chemotherapy or radiotherapy?
As per my understanding you want to know about the best therapy for lymphoma stage 2. Treatment and Prognosis of a cancer depends on many factors, which include the type of cancer, its stage and the age and general condition of the individual. The treatment for stage 2 lymphoma depends on the type of lymphoma, medical history of patient, and others. Line of treatment is mainly chemotherapy, radiotherapy, immunotherapy and stem cell therapy. Any modality of treatment depends upon the condition of patient, his age, type and stage of cancer. Treatment is stage wise. Immunotherapy is newer treatment and side effects may be mild to severe like skin reactions, flu-like symptoms, body ache, diarrhea, headaches etc. Regarding blood test ,most of the investigations are on similar pattern which are use to diagnose the disease with few variations. But choice of treatment depends on the clinician's decision and as per the response of patient. Consult an oncologist - Best Oncologist In India. Hope our answer helps you.

Female | 45
In stage 3 gallbladder cancer the cancer spreads to all nearby tissues or lymph nodes. While it's more advanced, it is not necessarily incurable. It can be treated with surgery, chemotherapy, and radiation therapy. It would be best if you visit a cancer specialist near you for a personalised advice about her treatment soon.
