It appears that you have a prolonged sore throat which may be due to hidden factors such as allergies, post-nasal drip, or even acid reflux. Therefore, it is possible to feel discomfort if speaking for a long time. You can reduce the symptoms by keeping your fluid intake high and by using a humidifier in the case of dry environments. Patients should also use Throat lozenges. On the other hand, since this is a recurring issue over many years, I very strongly suggest speaking with a healthcare professional.

I am 26 years old female. My two ears have been blocked for over three weeks and there are no signs it would open. What should I do to get it open?
Female | 26
Earwax buildup often causes this. Hardened wax clogs the ear canal, making you feel full or hear less. Use over-the-counter ear drops to soften wax. Gently flush ears with warm water using a bulb syringe. If this doesn't work, see an ENT specialist for evaluation and treatment.

I am breast feeding a baby. For last few days i have pain in thorat and fever. I have taken erthyromycin 4 times in 2 days but its not working. Kindly siggest medicine which for throat pain ,fever which is safe during breast feeding
Female | 28
You likely have an infection in your throat, resulting in pain and fever. Since erythromycin didn't help, take acetaminophen to reduce fever, and Tylenol for throat discomfort. These medications are safe during breastfeeding. Drink plenty of fluids. Rest sufficiently. Consult a doctor if symptoms persist, for further evaluation.

Female | Kiran Pandey
It sounds like you’re experiencing ongoing discomfort, which can stem from conditions like ear infections, fluid buildup, or allergies. Symptoms like pain, discharge, and reduced hearing warrant thorough evaluation. While ear drops can help, persistent issues often require further investigation. I recommend scheduling an appointment for a comprehensive examination with ENT specialist if the issue continues.

I have excess ear wax which has hardened like stone.
Female | 27
Built-up ear plug can create an issue of a feeling of being uncomfortable, a reduction in one’s hearing ability, or the illusion of fullness in the ear. Mainly, it is the misuse of cleaning methods and anatomy of the jeopardized narrow ear canals. The other reason might be a skin disorder. To dissolve the wax that has become firm, try mineral oil- or saline solution-based, over-the-counter drops. To prevent earwax from being pushed deeper inside, do not use cotton swabs. If the healing process at home is ineffective or you are in pain when doing it, it is recommended to see a doctor.

Male | 12
Your son has enlarged tonsils, he slows down when sick. These can make the throat hurt, make it hard to swallow, or even block some air. Helping him stay comfortable might include giving him lots of things to drink and soft things to eat. Make a doctor’s appointment if he seems very uncomfortable or it’s hard for him to breathe.

Female | 18
Ear balance issues accompanied by the sensation of hearing your heartbeat may be related to various factors, such as inner ear inflammation, earwax buildup, or changes in blood flow. These symptoms can affect your comfort but are often manageable. To alleviate discomfort, consider staying hydrated and avoiding loud environments. Gentle neck stretches may also help. I have been experiencing throat pain on my left side since few weeks … I have tachycardia I am on beta blockers , my doctor said for a ultrasound of neck in which level 3 10 into 6 mm benign nodes with maintained fatty hilum . But since few weeks I have pain and I also feel something is stuck and I have ear pain sometimes with toothache
Female | 22
The possible cause of pain in your throat and the feeling of an obstruction in your neck might lie in benign nodes. Once in a while, these nodes can problematically press on a nerve and cause pain. Apart from that, they might also be the culprits of earache and toothache. Therefore, you must schedule an appointment with an ENT specialist to undergo the necessary diagnostic programs.

Hello. In a month I will have a nasal septum surgery (Septoplasty). I would like to know how to prepare for the surgery, what tests to perform, how long the procedure will take, how long the recovery will take after the procedure and whether I should have a new CT scan of the face (the old CT scan of the face is 2 years old). I would also like to get an opinion based on the documentation of the CT scan of the face whether my case is serious? : CT scan of the paranasal sinuses - examination performed without intravenous contrast agent In the posterior ethmoid on the right side, inflammatory thickening of the mucosa up to 7 mm. In the posterior ethmoid on the left side, inflammatory thickening of the mucosa up to 4 mm. In the alveolar recess of the right maxillary sinus, inflammatory thickening of the mucosa of approx. 1 mm In the medial wall of the right maxillary sinus at the level of the middle nasal meatus, a loss of continuity of approx. 2.5 mm - variant The frontal sinuses and the sphenoid sinus on both sides, the maxillary sinus on the left, are normally free of inflammatory thickening of the mucosa. The ostia-ductal complexes are patent on both sides Aeration of the middle nasal turbinate on the left, type II The mucosa of the middle nasal turbinates and the inferior nasal turbinates was significantly thickened on both sides. The bony nasal septum in the upper part is deviated by up to 6 mm to the right, in the lower part it is deviated by up to 4 mm to the left
Male | 28
To get your nasal septum surgery, you need blood tests and maybe a nasal swab. The surgery is expected to last from 1-2 hours. The recovery time may be different, but you might have to keep still for a few days. Your old CT scan is nice, but doing the new one preoperatively is a good idea. Your case is not so serious, however, the surgery will be a positive thing for you in terms of breathing and reduced infections.

It looks like your left ear is infected. Ear pain and trouble sleeping might be the result of the infection you have. The drainage of the liquid in your sleep is an indication of the infection getting discharged. The ear is the most common site of infections and sometimes the yeast infectious ways matched can be compatible with some types of bacteria. Ensure that the ear is clean and dry. The right treatment should be gotten only through seeking specialized medical attention from an ENT specialist.

Hello, I'm 20 years old and my voice stopped developing around 16, so I speak in a high voice for my age. When I speak quietly, it's fine, but when I have to speak more loudly, the voice is very unpleasant for me and those around me. Since I'm about to do a job that requires a normal voice, I need to sort this out. I visited the ENT and she checked my vocal cords. The doctor said that the vocal cords are completely healthy and I should try different voice exercises. So since then, I try to speak in the lowest possible voice in public and at every opportunity, but no change is manifested. I've also found that I've been developing a second voice for several years now that sounds male to me. But I can't talk to him automatically, and when I try, it gets annoying after a while. What can I do?
mužský | 20
Your vocal cords appear okay, but you face a voice challenge. Voices sometimes change uncomfortably or unusually. The high pitch and second male-like tone could result from vocal habits or muscle tension. A speech therapist specializing in voice disorders can help. They'll give exercises and techniques to find a more natural, comfortable voice.

I have a sore throat and difficulty swallowing
Male | 24
The common cold, flu, or an infection could be responsible for these. Resting, drinking plenty of fluids such as warm teas or soups, and gargling with warm salt water are the best things to do. Eating soft foods and avoiding spicy or acidic foods can also help. If it's getting worse or not getting better after a few days, it's important to let your body rest and recover.

You might have an inflamed lymph node or possibly a salivary gland issue. Since the pain increases with chewing and swallowing, it's important to visit an ENT specialist.
