Ear infection and vertigo in head
Male | 36
Ear infections may give you vertigo, making you dizzy and feel like the room is spinning. Since infections impact your inner ear's balance mechanism, this happens. Ear infection symptoms are ear pain, hearing issues, and drainage. Your ENT specialist might prescribe antibiotics and recommend resting to treat the infection and vertigo.

Hi! I am 25 years old female I have severe pain and seellung in my ear I have been sick with flu from last week when it was clear my ear pain started. In my past i have ruptured ear drum but using ear drops my infection cleared After six years i again sick with ear infection
Female | 25
Pain and swelling in your ear can result from infections, especially following flu symptoms. Since you have a history of eardrum issues, it's crucial to monitor these symptoms closely. Utilizing warm compresses may provide temporary relief, and over-the-counter pain relievers can help manage discomfort. However, I strongly advise consulting a healthcare professional for a thorough examination. They can determine the underlying cause and recommend appropriate treatment, which may include antibiotics or further care.

I am a 54 yr old female . I got tinnitus and earache last year. The earache remains, stinging, sharp deep pain every day. No infections seen or other symptoms. I only got a clicking jaw this week. Ear was cleaned of excess fluid and was neurotic last year. I had been given lots ear drops over mths as thought was infections but consultant told me no infections. I think it may me nerve pain. Pain relief don't help much. What can I do to relieve the stinging, burning feeling
Female | 54
The likely cause of this is nerve pain. Pills for other pains won't help this. You need to see a ENT specialist who deals with nerve pain. They will find the right treatment for you.

Suppose one has a sound playing inside their ear for two years, that might be tinnitus. Tinnitus is a condition where you hear ringing or buzzing or any other sound in your ear that is not caused by any external noise source. A visit to an ENT specialist is necessary to find the cause and consequently receive appropriate treatment.

If I have ulcers inside my throat, what should I do and which medicine should I take?
Male | 18
You might have throat ulcers if swallowing or talking causes pain and it feels like there are sores. These ulcers can occur due to infections, acid reflux, or certain medications. Avoiding spicy, acidic foods and drinks is crucial for healing. Gargling with warm salt water can provide relief. Staying hydrated and consuming soft, easy-to-swallow foods aids recovery. However, if the discomfort persists, over-the-counter pain medication may be necessary.

I am a 15 year old male and for the past 2 or 3 days I have had pain in my left semi-outwards upper ear. It feels sort-of like a bump and doesn't constantly hurt but hurts more if moved or touched (finger, airpod, etc.). It's not a sharp pain or anything, it has been more of a pressure-like pain at times. It's right below the surface and not in my inner ear. What might this be?
Male | 15
You may have an external ear infection, commonly known as “swimmer’s ear.” Signs and symptoms of it could be pain, which may worsen when touching the outside of the ear or tugging on the earlobe, as well as a sensation that your ear is full inside. Water trapped in the ear or skin irritation can cause this infection. You could help yourself feel better by trying to keep your ears dry and taking nonprescription pain relievers. However, if the pain doesn’t go away or becomes severe, you should see a ENT specialist.

i am facing pain in my ear by using headphones from last 1 day when i feel very little pqin i take it off and for 1 day i was not using it but now i again use it and i feel more pain than yesterday and it is 2 hour now i am send this chat i am feel pain not too much but not little it is noticeable pain in inner side of ear which is near to my jaw and ear intersection point
Male | 24
You may have developed an ear infection from wearing headphones too often. The pain near your jaw and ear could signal this issue. Prolonged headphone use can sometimes trap bacteria, leading to infections. Take a break from using headphones, and try applying a warm cloth to the affected ear area. However, if the discomfort persists, it would be wise to consult an ENT specialist for proper diagnosis and treatment recommendations.

I am a 16 year old male, and I have been experiencing earaches that sometimes come and go, it feels only a little but is disturbing, it first happened in the right ear and then in the left ear and has been going on for more than 2 months until now, I have visited an ENT doctor and was told that my ear paper is fine, just a little red and was prescribed antibiotics and painkillers for a week but that seems to be gone a month ago, I have been feeling the pain until now, I never cover my ears when I shower because I have OCD, I also always use earphones but since I had the earache I have used the volume one to three, and I also seem to hear a whooshing and ticking sound often,
Male | 15
You've been struggling with earaches for a long time already. The redness of the ears is a sign of inflammation. Your earphones habit and not covering your ears while showering may have some impact on this problem. The whooshing and ticking sound you hear might be connected to the earaches. It may be better to reduce earphone usage and keep your ears dry. When the pain doesn't go away, check with your ENT doctor for additional tests.

I'm 25 years old male and I have been experiencing my voice lost for last 7 years I use to eat smoked cigarette filters a lot in my childhood and now my voice becomes hoarse and lost its freshness Kindly tell me what to do
Male | 25
Prolonged hoarseness can stem from several factors, including past smoking habits and irritation in the throat. To improve your situation, consider eliminating irritants like smoking, staying hydrated, and using humidifiers. Resting your voice and avoiding whispering can also help. However, because of the duration of your symptoms, I encourage you to consult an ENT specialist. They can provide a thorough examination and recommend appropriate treatments, which may include speech therapy or medication.

Male | 23
Among the reasons, some people might suffer from tinnitus are exposure to loud sounds, blockage of the ears caused by earwax, or any changes in ear health. Such issues can be resolved by engaging in simple activities such as minimizing noise, control of stress, and cleanliness in the ears. Besides this, a healthy lifestyle, especially in food, can be of great help to the level of ear health. Nonetheless, one must get professional advice from a doctor so that a thorough evaluation can be conducted and the accurate reason be identified and given appropriate solutions.

How can I stop snoring at night permanently
Male | 34
Among the leading causes of this are nasal congestion, obesity, alcoholic drinks, and sleeping posture. Should you want to cut down or completely get rid of this, think of lifestyle changes like controlling your weight, sleeping on your side, and not drinking alcohol before bedtime. Besides, using nose strips or humidifiers may help. If none of these strategies give you satisfaction, it would reinforce the importance of professional help to discover the underlying health issues and customized treatments.

From last few months sometimes my ears feel dry with transparent sticky thing and now from few days im noticing dry blood very lil quantity
Female | 19
These could be signs of swimmer's ear. This ear issue happens when water gets stuck inside the ear canal. The trapped water can make the ear feel dry, itchy, and irritated. You may even notice a liquid or bloody discharge coming from your ear. Don't worry, dealing with a swimmer's ear is simple. Keep your ears dry by using ear plugs or a swim cap when swimming. Avoid putting things like cotton swabs or fingers inside your ear canal. Use an ear cleaning solution made for sensitive ears. Gently rinse out the ear canal with the solution as directed. If problems continue after a few days, visit a doctor. An ENT specialist can examine your ear and prescribe treatment.

i have a ear ache on my right ear after lying on my right side for too long with headphones.
Female | 13
Having headphones on while lying on your side for long periods can cause pain in your ear. This happens due to pressure and friction in the ear canal. To ease earache symptoms, take breaks from wearing headphones frequently. Apply a warm compress to the affected ear. Avoid sleeping on that side until the pain goes away. If discomfort continues, it is advisable to consult an ENT specialist.
