I was feeling unwell, was given some anti malarial, not much change, later typhoid was suspected, but I didn't do a test. I've been on ciproflaxacin, I feel like going for a blood check up but it might not work since I've been on medicine, am asking for advice
Male | 20
It seems that dealing with a complex situation. Being sick and taking drugs can lead to inaccurate results of a blood test. Knowing exactly what is wrong is necessary for the right treatment. Symptoms of fever, stomach ache and general body weakness are common in both malaria and typhoid. Failing to go through the test may complicate matters further. My advice is to wait for some days after completion of the ciprofloxacin course before going for a blood test. This will enable you to get clearer results about your health status.

Symptoms are : Gassy Farting Stomach pain and it goes are pooping Can see little little parts of undigested food on stool for eg sesame seeds, fresh coriander small fragments Only 1 time i have seen small circular white thing i dont know it its the undigested food but i have seen only one time Before 2 3 days i have gone through watery stool very very watery and feels full for a long time after eating more gassy than before but now i am not facing watery stool its just thin soft stool. If i eat normal veggies and rice i have seen my stool is little yellow colour but when i eat meat products then stool turns to little brownish or it looks like meat curry and more smelly than the stool done after eating veggies Feeling to do poo after eating a meal within 1 hr and when i do poo i only do very small amount of poo. While doing poo in the morning i can feel very little pain while straining on stomach. I have done blood test, stool test, urine test and every tests are normal except bilirubin is 35 umol/L and urea is 2.7 L and little deficiency of vitamin B12.
Male | 20
Your digestive issues might be due to problems with food absorption or digestion. Symptoms like gas, stomach pain, and changes in stool could indicate issues with how you process food. Undigested food in your stool and watery bowel movements might suggest digestive problems. Even though your blood, stool, and urine tests were normal, elevated bilirubin levels, low urea, and vitamin B12 deficiency may point to underlying conditions that need attention. Eating a balanced fiber-rich diet and staying hydrated could help with your symptoms. Probiotics or digestive enzymes might also support gut health. If your symptoms persist or worsen, it's important to consult a gastroenterologist to explore the best treatment options.

I am 24 years old and by mistake I Swallow cool lip. What should I do? It is dangerous or not ?
Male | 24
Swallowing a cool lip (assuming you mean a small object or part of a lip balm) is usually not dangerous, but it can potentially cause discomfort or minor issues. It's best to consult a gastroenterologist to ensure there are no complications. If you experience any pain, difficulty breathing, or other unusual symptoms, seek medical help immediately.

Female | 17
Dealing with chest pressure, abdominal pain, headaches, sleep troubles, and leg pain can be tough, especially when feeling irritable. The cause might be stress, a poor diet, or lack of sleep. Listen to your body—stay hydrated, eat well, rest, and talk to someone about how you're feeling.

I used alchohol heavily for 5 to 6 years since last 2 to 3 month i have not take any alchohol. I have fatty liver with high colestorel and sugar.I don't know if it's an alcoholic fatty liver or a non alcoholic fatty liver.Doctor recommended to take 'SAROGlITAZAR 4 mg'. Is it oK for AFLD and NAFLD?
Male | 39
Whether alcohol-related (AFLD) or alcohol-free (NAFLD) liver diseases can cause liver damage and in many cases cause symptoms like fatigue and abdominal pain. The medication your doctor gave you, SAROGlITAZAR, may decrease fat in your liver as it regulates metabolic functions. It is crucial to a) observe a balanced diet, b) exercise regularly, and c) strictly follow your doctor's advice. Please talk to a gastroenterologist for proper treatment.

I have stomach pain and visit doctor and take medicine but I can't feel better
Female | 23
Different things such as indigestion, gastritis, or infections can cause stomach pains. When you go back to your doctor this time you let the doctor know that what they gave you last time did not work. The doctor might need to run more tests so they can find out what’s happening and give you something that’ll make you feel better.

I am 30 years old and for about a week now, I have felt weakness, Abdominal pain, the feeling of vomiting every morning. I ran pregnancy and malaria tests and all came out negative. These symptoms reoccur in the evening.
Female | 30
It's understandable to feel concerned about these symptoms. The combination of fatigue, abdominal discomfort, and nausea could be due to various factors, such as stress, digestive issues, or even diet. Staying hydrated and eating light, nutritious meals might help alleviate the discomfort. However, since these symptoms persist, it is important to seek medical advice for a thorough evaluation. A gastroenterologist can provide tailored tests and treatment options to address your concerns effectively.

Male | 65
It looks like you're experiencing gas, bloating, and a feeling of fullness after eating. This could be due to eating too quickly, swallowing air, or consuming foods that are hard to digest. To reduce these symptoms, try eating more slowly, avoid fizzy drinks, and include probiotic foods like yogurt in your diet. Drinking peppermint tea might also help soothe your stomach.

I have a sudden pains near the belly button and right lower corner of the abdomen which is sharp and it comes suddenly in the evening .
Female | 18
Your symptoms suggest appendicitis - an inflamed appendix. Pain starts sharply near the navel, then shifts to the lower right abdomen. Fever, nausea, vomiting often occur too. Act quickly! Appendicitis needs urgent hospital treatment, maybe surgery. Delaying risks major complications. Head to the ER without delay if these signs match your condition.

Female | 13
You're experiencing severe gastroenteritis symptoms. This illness causes abdominal pain, vomiting, and frequent diarrhea, usually caused by viruses or bacteria. The recommended approach is resting, drinking plenty of water to prevent dehydration, and avoiding spicy or fatty foods. Consume bland items like crackers and plain rice to soothe your stomach. Recovery should occur soon. However, if symptoms worsen or you can't keep liquids down, visit a gastroenterologist.

It seems like you suffer from probably the most common disease called hemorrhoids, also called piles. Symptoms involve pain, itching, and bleeding in the anal area. As a result, hemorrhoids can be due to straining during bowel movements, overweight, or sitting on the toilet for a long time. To get relief from the discomfort, drink enough water, eat foods rich in fiber such as fruits and vegetables, or use over-the-counter creams if necessary. Nevertheless, if the condition lasts longer, make sure you go to the doctor.

It appears that you are possibly facing some tummy trouble perhaps somewhat associated with your very first sexual encounter but not as a direct result of it. The aching, vomiting, tiredness, and frequent bathroom visits might be due to a tummy bug or infection. The zit on your skin could likely be caused by hormonal variations. You must take a lot of water, get enough rest, and eat plain easy-to-digest items like bread or rice. If the situation does not change please visit a gastroenterologist.

Trying to treat this with one of the diseases rather than a hormonal shift or malnutrition is just one of the issues that come to make us fall ill. That's just a small part of what you can do to assist a healthcare professional in evaluating your health. They can provide the necessary information about your health status and can also guide you in the decision-making process to find a solution to your medical issue. I should be amiss if I helped you answer everything and did not stress the importance of your gastroenterologist approval of the solutions. If you want to discuss this with your doctor after the appointment, you do not have to wait for an answer. You have the right to healthcare and, in this matter, jockeying with a skilled liar remains the last resort.
