Hiccups happen when the diaphragm muscle below the lungs contracts suddenly. Eating rapidly, carbonated beverages or excitement may trigger hiccups. Typically, hiccups stop by themselves but try deep breathing or sipping water if persistent. Hiccups are little noises our bodies make, sometimes cute. They usually resolve on their own, but lasting ones need attention. Deep breaths help relax the diaphragm, while water soothes throat spasms causing hiccups.

3yrs baby not speak but he knows every things and try to speak but not sucess
Male | 3
Kids often struggle to speak at 3 years old. But, if your child tries and doesn't improve, you should act. This may mean a speech delay. Causes could be hearing issues or development problems. I'd suggest an expert checks your child, like a speech therapist or pediatrician. They'll figure out the best way to boost speech skills.

Female | 3
Your girl had seizures caused by fever - febrile convulsions. These simple seizures often last under 15 minutes, don't recur frequently in kids. Family history is common. Fever spikes rapidly increase body temperature, triggering convulsions. Monitor her temperature closely. Follow up with her doctor for proper care.

Female | 6 months

My wife breastfeeds my son is 1 year and 2 months old can she take a 5 mg clonazepam tablet just one day once is it harmful in the same way???
Female | 20
Clonazepam gets into breast milk, potentially harming babies. Avoiding its use during breastfeeding, mainly without medical guidance, proves crucial. Infants might experience drowsiness, breathing difficulties, and additional side effects due to Clonazepam. Before consuming any medication while nursing, consulting a doctor seems advisable for your wife's well-being.

My baby girl is of 2 months and i want to leave a formula milk and want to start a cow milk can i do this and there is no any side effect of this milk?
Female | 2
At two months old, babies should be fed only breastmilk or formula. Cow milk can be too much for their stomachs, resulting in problems such as stomach pains and anaemia. It is important to consult with the pediatrician before making any changes.

My 4 year old daughter faints for a few seconds and falls to the ground after crying. Is that normal? Should I be concerned?
Female | 4
Kids sometimes hold their breath while crying intensely. This causes a brief oxygen lapse, leading to fainting. It's common and typically harmless. Try calming your daughter when upset. Encourage slow, deep breaths to prevent fainting episodes. However, if the episodes persists or worsens, speak with your pediatrician.

My baby is 2 months old, he has some symptoms , we tested in the lab , stool and urine he has infamentory and the test of calprotectin was 67 , the sleep time is short , he can only sleep around 10 hrs per day , during drinking milk he was drinking too much milk but he was drinking like hate the milk , in the first he has a normal type about 2 weeks ago i changed the milk to allergy milk , but nothing changed please help me
Male | 27
Your child seems to have an inflamed gut, making them grumpy and restless overnight. The calprotectin number, sixty-seven, signals inflammation there. Since the hypoallergenic formula didn't improve things, maybe it's not food-related. Definitely consult your pediatrician about next steps and solutions.

my baby birth weight is 3.1 now she is 9 months and her weight is 4.7 she is not gaining weight can i feed her similac neosure for weight gain
Female | 0
Babies double their weight by six months, so it's good you pay attention. If yours isn't gaining weight properly, reasons could include insufficient intake, medical issues, or natural smallness. Rather than calculating solo, discuss with the pediatrician - they'll identify the actual cause and recommend ideal steps for your little one's progress.

My 7 years daughter has fever since 3 days now it is not and she has inside fever and she has rashes on her body 4/ 5 place and she has sore throat. She is coughing and she has little bit Headache also. Her urine is slightly yellow.
Female | 7
Your daughter's fever, rash, throat pain, cough, and headache suggest a viral illness, possibly influenza. Dehydration causes yellow urine. Ensure she consumes ample fluids and rests well. Administer fever-reducing medicines if necessary. However, seek medical evaluation if symptoms worsen or don't improve, as viruses can sometimes lead to complications.

Levocetirizine dihydrochloride is a medicine for allergies. The initial dosage for your son, who weighs 8 kg, will be 3-4 mL. However, it is always better to seek the advice of a pediatrician before determining the accurate dosage.

Mera bacha kuch nhi kha rha usko loose motion ho rhe h and uska weight 5kg hi h abhi tak wo 18 months complete kr chuke h please kuch btaye
Female | 18 months
Kids have rough days sometimes. Trouble using the bathroom leaves them drained. They can't keep food down well. Low weight follows. But don't worry yet. Some simple causes likely explain loose bowel movements. Maybe a minor infection. Could be food isn't agreeing with them lately. New diet changes can do that. When weight drops and hunger disappears, it's wise to get expert help. A doctor's visit offers the right solution. Give small water sips often to avoid dehydration. Try easy snacks like rice, bananas, and toast. Simple foods are gentle. Get checked out and follow a pediatrician's advice.

6 days old baby girl having loose motion 3 times a day can we give sporlac banana flavour powder
Female | 6 days e
Sometimes, babies pass loose stools often. Don't worry, this happens. If your newborn girl has diarrhea thrice daily, an infection or diet change could cause it. Sporlac banana powder may help. It restores good tummy bacteria, and firms up motions. Keep her hydrated - offer breast milk or small water sips frequently. Don't give any other medicine without a doctor's advice. But if diarrhea worsens or continues, see a pediatrician.

My 14 month old son developed a red nipple last Saturday. Since then the redness has gone down. However still a noticable difference from the other nipple. It is also going inverted and coming back out. He was not born with inverted nipples.
Male | 14 month
It is great that differences have been spotted in your son's nipple. This could be due to moments of redness and inversions whenever irritations or infections set in. It is quite necessary to stick around. If the condition persists or grows more severe, the best alternative would be to seek further evaluation and advice from a pediatrician.

Hlo doctor my self hameeda my baby is 21days old can i put aptamil formula milk for my baby because i have less production of milk in my breast
Male | 21day old
When the supply of breast milk is limited, you can slowly switch your baby to formula milk that has nutrients like Aptamil for your baby. Excess stress and in some cases, improper breastfeeding are the reasons why some moms have low milk production. Be calm about it. You will be able to feed your baby the needed nutrients via formula milk. Be sure to go through the instructions on the formula package.
