Am I at risk for rabies after touching unvaccinated dog?
I pet an unvaccinated dog 2 hours ago , I might have blown my nose with the same hand after accidentally without washing my hands . I’m not sure if the dog is rabid or not because it came near me socially . I’m scared if I’m at risk or rabies plz help

In a scenario where you stroke an unvaccinated dog that might have rabies, there is still only a minor risk of getting infected. The virus Rabies attacks the human brain and can be lethal when untreated. It is huffy, headache, and fear of water that are its symptoms. In such a case, scrub the wound with soap and water and consult with a physician.
