My aunt suffering with black fungus, symptoms are observed 3 days before will she recover Please reply sir
Female | 55
Black fungus is a disease that can occur in people with weakened immune systems, like those who have uncontrolled diabetes. Symptoms can involve a stuffy nose, facial pain, swelling, and black crusts in the nose. Treatment every time requires antifungal medication and, in some cases, surgery. Recovery is possible with a good approach that includes beginning treatment early and it depends on the individual health condition. Find an ENT specialist to treat this condition.

Ear infection and vertigo in head
Male | 36
Ear infections may give you vertigo, making you dizzy and feel like the room is spinning. Since infections impact your inner ear's balance mechanism, this happens. Ear infection symptoms are ear pain, hearing issues, and drainage. Your ENT specialist might prescribe antibiotics and recommend resting to treat the infection and vertigo.

I am feelings so much pain inside my ear canal. I don't know why. Yesterday I used small stick to remove my ear wax and today it is paining. Don't know whether it is because of ear infection or heavy wax, so iam here to consult on this problem. Please help me.
Male | 21
Using small sticks to remove ear wax can be risky as it might push the wax deeper or harm the sensitive skin inside. Pains in the ear canal may occur due to infections, direct contact with a stick, or blocking the ear with wax. I recommend not using sticks in the ears. To relieve the pain, you can try using a warm compress on the outside of the ear and avoid putting anything in the ear canal. If the pain does not cease or worsen, consult an ENT specialist.

I am suffering from inner ear inflammation, acute peripheral vertigo, dizziness, imbalance, ringing in the left ear (tinnitus), ringing gets louder with loud noises and when I speak and I cannot hear clearly because of the sharp ringing. This is happening since one month. I am consulting a senior ent and am under medication. I am having vertin 16 mg since 11 days and tinnex for my tinnitus since 16 days. Before that I was on stemetil for 10 days and defcort for 5 days. My imbalance and dizziness is a little better but keeps fluctuating. I am not completely balanced, when I walk and turn my head I feel dizzy and imbalanced. My ringing is still the same. I am taking my tablets regularly as prescribed, doing exercises, drinking enough water, eating well, going everyday for brisk walks. MRI of my brain, inner ear and cervical spine is normal. My immettance audiometry test was normal. Why is it taking so long to get alright with not so much improvement. I am a healthy individual. Please tell me by when will I be completely alright, fine and normal. Thank you.
Male | 52
These symptoms can take time to improve as the inner ear is a delicate structure. It's great that your MRI and hearing tests are normal, ruling out any major concerns. The medications you're taking are aimed at reducing inflammation and managing symptoms. Sometimes, it just takes a bit longer for the body to fully recover. Keep up with your prescribed medications, exercises, hydration, and walks. Your dedication is commendable. I recommend staying in touch with your ENT specialist for regular check-ups and adjustments to your treatment plan.

I have clod fever and headache.. how to control it .. what's the best treatment
Female | 16
A fever and headache usually tell you that the body is busy throwing away an infection from it, such as a cold virus. Consume plenty of fluids, take rest, and you can also take “over-the-counter” pain relievers such as acetaminophen or ibuprofen to help with a headache and fever. Besides, soaking in a warm shower or using a humidifier will resolve your stuffy nose too. If the symptoms worsen consult a doctor.

My daughter aged about 30 yrs. Since afternoon today facing tremendous pain in right ear. What should I do. I have given her Zerodol p after consulting with one doctor over phone. Now pain is slightly low than before.
Female | 30
Ear pain in adults could be due to different causes, such as ear infections, wax buildup, or maybe even some problems with the jaw. It is so nice of you to give Zerodol P, it can help with pain and inflammation. If the pain is not subsiding or is worsening, go to an ENT doctor for a thorough examination and the necessary treatment.

I am 16 year old boy with neck swellling it has been going on for 3 days now
Male | 16
The puffed neck can take place for several reasons. Considering it is there for 3 days, notice will be required. Some common ones are, for example, being infected (like swollen glands) or even reacting to something. Besides, it may be about a thyroid issue. See a healthcare professional as fast as possible, so they can find the exact reason why you are ill and prescribe the proper medicine.

It's been a month for me Sore throat and yellow and white bump's on the inner wall of the throat like pharyngitis What causes it It only hurts a little while swallowing and it feels like there is something on the inner wall of the throat I'll smoke little bit and I'm worrying about this is cancer can you please explain
Female | 25
You might have pharyngitis, which is inflammation and swelling in the back of your throat. The yellow and white bumps could be pus pockets, often caused by viral or bacterial infections. Smoking can irritate your throat and make things worse, so it's a good idea to stop for a while. To soothe your throat, drink plenty of fluids, gargle with warm salt water, and avoid smoking. If the problem doesn’t improve, it’s best to see an ENT specialist for further advice and treatment.

My ear hurts what could be the cause
Female | 23
Ear pain could signal an ear infection. Symptoms like ear ache, hearing difficulty, and fever can occur. Bacteria or viruses often cause these infections. Simple steps like applying warmth with a cloth and taking pain meds might ease discomfort. However, if pain persists or worsens, seeing an ENT specialist for evaluation is recommended.

I cant hear properly for last 7 days (left ear) I think, its because of heavy ear wax. I once had this problem. So i guessed it. Now what should i do?
Female | 23
Ear wax buildup blocks sound. That could explain hearing trouble. You hear worse in one ear. Also, ear fullness, and discomfort too. Try ear drops first, and soften the wax. If that doesn't work, see an ENT specialist. They can remove the wax safely.

I am 20 year old boy , I have clogged ear due to wax buildup ,after that I went to ENT specialist he removed my wax from ear then just after I can hear clearly ,he prescribed me earlier drop ,name polydex ,then after putting that ear drops again clogged my ear ,and it's been 3 days still my ears are clogged , I also feel little pain inside when I do burping or swallowing Please help me with unclogging my ear
Male | 20
The ear canal can be clogged and uncomfortable when wax builds up and gets removed, which can sometimes result in swelling and sulking. This may make you think your ear is blocked and may cause you pain when burping or swallowing. To help unclog your ear, try using warm olive oil drops to soften any remaining wax. You can also try gently irrigating your ear with warm water to help clear out any residue. If the symptoms persist or worsen, it's best to seek further advice from your ENT specialist.

It sounds like you may be experiencing swelling in your salivary gland and some enlarged lymph nodes in your neck. These could be due to various reasons, including infection or inflammation. It's important to consult an ENT specialist for a thorough evaluation and appropriate management.

I have a white sore in the rear of my throat. It’s been there for about a week. Seems to be getting better
Male | 30
Your sore throat seems typical. A white area behind your throat lasting weekly might indicate a viral illness. This often brings soreness, difficulty swallowing, and possibly mild fever. Consuming warm liquids and resting plenty aids your immune response. However, if symptoms persist or breathing becomes difficult, visit an ENT specialist promptly.

I feel pressure in my throat or like a lump or something stuck it is like someone held my throat and the pressure is worse I feel like it gets worse during night I had neck pain few days ago I don't know if it is due to my posture or something else now not much pain and my saliva is kinda thick I kinda feel anxious when I think about it I lost 1 kg today and also like that throat thing goes upto my head I kinda feel like that
Female | 17
It's understandable to feel concerned about the sensation in your throat and the pressure you're experiencing. These symptoms can arise from anxiety, muscle tension, or postural issues. Thick saliva and neck discomfort may contribute to this sensation as well. Staying hydrated and practicing relaxation techniques could help alleviate discomfort. However, since these symptoms are persistent and impacting your daily life, it’s advisable to consult a physician. They can provide a thorough evaluation and tailored advice, ensuring you're supported and informed.

I am suffering from Allergic Rhinitis for more than a week. This happened many times before. The condition is very uncomfortable. Medicines do not produce immediate effects. I do saline wash and take vaour once in the evening. Is it not possible to get it cured permanently?
Male | 70
Sneezing, stuffy or runny nose, and itchiness are the common symptoms of it. Often Allergic Rhinitis is produced by allergens like pollen, dust mites, or pet hair getting inside your body and irritating your immune system. Unfortunately, the permanent cure does not exist, but managing symptoms with a saline wash, antihistamines, and avoiding triggers may make it more manageable.

I went to a ENT specialist last week who removed some earwax plug from my right ear. Since last week my ear feels itchy inside sometimes, whenever I start being active with it (moving it or touching it with my finger). What can be the cause ? Probably not earwax as I went to the doctor last week.
Male | 31
The ear getting treated for wax buildup is fantastic news! However, itchiness in the ear canal post-procedure may occur. This results from skin irritation caused by disturbance during cleaning. Don't insert objects or scratch inside your ear. This discomfort should subside naturally. But if symptoms worsen, consult your ENT specialist immediately.

My uvula has elongated into my throat after I woke up from sleep this morning about 2hrs ago. It's making swallowing a bit unconfortable. My breathing is fine for now and it's not painful for now. I've gargled with salty warm water.
Male | 29
Concerns about an elongated uvula are understandable and can be caused by factors such as dehydration, allergies, or inflammation. Considering you are merely feeling a little weirdness while swallowing but breathing is okay, it may not be a life-threatening event. Saltwater gargling is the first step to getting relief. Alongside that, drinking water is just as important. When things get worse, or you face such a problem as shortness of breath, and increased pain, please consult an ENT specialist.

Male | 15
It is important to see a doctor right away for this lump near your ear, especially if you feel pain and your mouth is drooping. This lump might be a swollen lymph node or something different that needs attention. The doctor will help determine what is happening and suggest the best treatment for you.
