Hello, We've visited one of the top cardiologist in Bangalore who has recommend that a bypass is not necessary based on the angiogram report. The same cardiologist had successfully operated earlier, where a stenting was done. However, my brother in law who is a doctor and based out of Canada has a different opinion (based on the report and the advice from his friend (cardiologist) who thinks and is certain that a bypass is necessary within the next 2-3 weeks. We have 2 extremely contrasting opinions. We would like to get a second opinion from a cardiologist is Bangalore. Please recommend. Any other suggestions would be much appreciated. Regards, Kiranp
As per my understanding you are having two different opinions by two cardiologist regarding the treatment of your patient, so the confusion has arise, but to decide what is a best treatment of patient, clinical examination matters a lot, along with evaluation of reports. Therefore you can always take one more opinion from another cardiologist, who will examine your patient, asses their clinical condition, consider other comorbidities, their general health, and evaluate the older treatment, as well as decide what will be the best. Please be free to take advice from a cardiologist who clear all your doubts - Best Cardiologists in Bangalore. Hope this helps you.

My mother went to a cardiologist to change her blood pressure medication only to find out she has fluid in her heart
Female | 60
Your mom might have extra fluid around her heart. It happens when the heart struggles to pump correctly. Heart disease or high blood pressure often causes fluid buildup. To treat it, her cardiologist may give her medicine. The medication helps remove excess fluid and strengthens the heart's pumping ability.

The absence of a left superior vena cava is a rare anatomical variation where the vein is not located in its usual position. My mother has recently been diagnosed with a heart tumor. She was told that it was not causing problems with blood flow. Surgery was not advised. She has had three bouts with edema, one was serious. She had type 2 diabetes which is well controlled. She has high blood pressure. She is the most active woman her age that I have ever known. Why shouldn’t she have surgery? It doesn’t seem like the tumor is asymptomatic at all.
Female | 83
Sometimes, doctors may decide against surgery for heart tumors if they believe the risks outweigh the benefits, especially in older patients or those with other health conditions like high blood pressure and diabetes. Her edema could be due to other factors. It is best to consult with a cardiologist who can give a detailed explanation and guide you on the best course of action.
