What are the symptoms one can experience if they have Eye Cancer? Are they noticeable or do they go unnoticed?
Eye cancer does not always cause obvious symptoms and may only be picked up during a routine eye test. Some of the common symptoms of eye cancer are:
- Shadows
- Flashes of light
- Blurred vision
- Dark patch in eye that's getting bigger
- Partial or total loss of vision
- Bulging of 1 eye
- A lump on eyelid or in eye that's increasing in size
- Pain in or around eye, others.
The above mentioned symptoms can also be caused by more minor eye conditions, so they're not necessarily a sign of cancer. Consult an ophthalmologist. Hope our answer helps you.

Hello, one of my relatives is suffering from stage 1 Pancreatic Cancer. What are the causes of Pancreatic Cancer and is it curable?
Factors that may increase the risk of pancreatic cancer are: smoking, diabetes, chronic, inflammation of the pancreas (pancreatitis), family history of pancreatic cancer, obesity, family history of genetic syndromes that can increase cancer risk and others. Pancreatic cancer is called a silent killer because it often grows or spreads undetected. Many tumors of Stage 1 pancreatic cancer are resect able, or capable of being removed through the surgery. If surgery is not possible, other standard treatment choices include chemotherapy, radiation or both. Consult Cancer Treatment doctors in Mumbai, or any other city you prefer. On in-depth evaluation of the cause they will guide you through the treatment.

In many cases there are often no signs and symptoms, until the pancreatic cancer has reached an advanced stage. Even when there may be some early signs and symptoms, they are often vague, so patients tend to ignore them or doctors sometimes attribute them to some other disease.
Some of the early symptoms of pancreatic cancer that need to be taken seriously include:

Hello, my mother is suffering from Pancreatic Cancer is there any permanent treatment to cure it?
As per my understanding you want to know about the treatment of pancreatic cancer. Treatment for any cancer in general depends on the stage of cancer, location of cancer, patient's age, associated comorbidities and other factors.
The treatment mainly includes surgery according to location of cancer, radiation, chemotherapy or a combination of these. In advanced cancer palliative care is of more importance when routine treatment.
Consult an oncologist for guidance. Hope our answer helps you.

Early signs of throat cancer can be persistent cough, throat irritation, wheezing, difficulty in swallowing, unexplained fatigue, weight loss and many more, but to treat any kind of disease you need to visit a doctor, don't come to a conclusion and don't try to treat it yourself.
Consult a doctor and get evaluated and have one to one consultation with an oncologist to get a better idea of your concerns. Consult Cancer Treatment doctors in Mumbai or any other city nearest to you. Hope our answer helps you.

what is the treatment for colon cancer?
Hello Tracy, Since you have not mentioned the stage of the cancer, we will list down the cancer treatment by stage. Generally, people who have colon cancers that has not spread to different parts, usually have surgery as the first line treatment. Chemotherapy can also be given along with surgery:
- Stage 0 colon cancer In stage 0, colon cancer is in the inner lining of the colon. Generally, surgery is given as the only treatment.
- Stage I colon cancer In stage I colon cancer, the cancer has grown deep in the layers of the colon wall but not outside the colon wall. The standard treatment for this stage is surgery. You will not require any other treatment.
- Stage II colon cancer In stage II colon cancer, the cancer has grown through the wall of the colon and maybe into nearby tissues. Surgery is done to remove the part of the colon that contains cancer along with nearby lymph nodes. Your doctor may advice you, adjuvant chemotherapy (chemotherapy given after surgery).
- Stage III colon cancer In stage III colon cancer, the cancer has spread to the nearby lymph nodes but not in any other parts of the body. The standard treatment used at this stage is surgery combined with chemotherapy. The surgery is done to remove the part of the colon having cancer along with the nearby lymph nodes followed by the adjuvant chemotherapy.
- Radiation therapy or chemotherapy may be the options available for the people who are not healthy enough to get the surgery done. Stage IV colon cancer In stage IV colon cancer, the cancer has spread to other parts of the organ and tissues. Generally, it spreads to the liver, but it may spread to other parts like lungs, brain or distant lymph nodes.
In most of the cases, only surgery is unable to cure the cancer. Surgery is done to remove the part of the colon that has cancer. Also, surgery is done to remove the areas that has spread in other parts. Chemotherapy is given before and after the surgery. If the cancer has spread too much, chemotherapy is the main treatment. Hope this answer helps you. You can take opinions from other oncologists too - Best Oncologist In India.

What is the treatment option for colon cancer in stage 2. What is the survival rate in stage 2?
As per my understanding you want to know the survival rate of stage 2 colon cancer. Colon cancer Stage II (adenocarcinoma) is a common and curable cancer. Depending on features of the cancer, 60-75% of patients are cured without evidence of cancer recurrence following treatment with surgery alone. Also the age of the patient, comorbidities, his general health condition also influences the outcome of the cancer. But still consult an oncologist - Best Oncologist In India.
