I am detected with rectum cancer . I have a tumor at the tip of my anus and doctor has advised a surgery colostomy. I have got a PET SCAN done. The conclusion report of the pet scan says The known hypermetabolic primary rectal neoplasm involving mid and lower rectum. Small sized mesenteric, mesorectal and presacral lymph nodes with no significant FDG activity. Otherwise, no hypermetabolic distant metatases. I would like to know What stage is my cancer in? 1. What will be my lifetime changes after doing this surgery? 2. Is it safe to come to India during this time (COVID pendamic) to do the surgery? ( I stay out of India) 3. How long do I have to be in the hospital and in India for after care treatment ? 4. Will I need a radiation after my surgery? 5. What will be the total cost of my surgery? 6. I would like to get an appointment at your hospital for the surgery. Kindly guide me with my queries.and let me know when can I get an appointment in your hospital.
Oncologist can determine stage after clinical examination and reviewing of the pet scan images. he will need more details to stage the patient .

What is terminal stage of metastasis
One is diagnosed with metastatic cancer when during their first screening, cancer cell occurs about 6% of the overall time. This in itself is considered to be stage 4 of cancer as it is more severe than others, but also, there are some categories even within this:
MX: Whether there is spread into distant tissues or not, cannot be evaluated.
M0: There is no evidence of spread into distant tissues.
M0 (i+): There is microscopic evidence of tumor cells in the blood, bone marrow, or other lymph nodes that are no larger than 0.2 mm.
M1: There is evidence of of cancer cells of considerable size spreading to other part(s) of the body as well.

Based on the information you have provided, it seems that the patient has a pontine glioma, which is a type of brain tumor that is located in the pons region of the brainstem. The symptoms you have listed, such as impaired vision and mobility, dysarthia, dysphagia, and breathing difficulties, can be caused by the presence of a brain tumor in the pons region. It is important for the patient to receive appropriate medical care and treatment for their condition. This may involve a combination of surgery, radiation therapy, and chemotherapy, depending on the specific characteristics of the tumor and the patient's overall health. It is important for you to follow treatment plan as recommended by your neurosurgeon and to continue to monitor symptoms closely.

Her 2 POSITIVE Right Breast Cancer ,after Chemo sessions planned for surgery, how many methods of surgeries are available, is there any difference of methodology from other hospitals of Hyderabad to Tata Memorial one. want to have opinion for the surgery sir,
There are several different methods of surgery that can be used to treat right breast cancer. The most common treatments are mastectomy (removal of the entire breast), breast-conserving surgery, and lymph node dissection. The type of surgery for you will depend on the size and location of the tumor, the stage of the cancer, and the your individual preferences. The methodology for performing surgery at Tata Memorial Hospital is likely to be similar to that of other hospitals in Hyderabad. However, there may be slight differences due to the individual expertise and experience of the surgeons at each hospital. You discuss your options with your doctor and ask for their opinion on the best type of surgery for you.
