My child is having stomach ache since last 2 or 3 days. Yesterday he had ache 3 to 4 tines and he has been going to washroom each time. The stool is normal and not loose. He is 8 now. Since he was 3.5 years old he had habbit of going to.potty after 3 to 4 days and it extended till 6 to 7 days also. The potty was very hard and a single loop hard to flush. But since last 4 days he is complaining of stomach ache and going to.potty each time. The stool is normal and soft as compared to previous times and flushable. Please suggest.
I advise you to take your child to a doctor. Based on proper evaluation and diagnosis, the doctor will be able to determine whether the problem faced is due some underlying medical issue such as food intolerance, infection or some other reason. Based on that, treatment may be suggested which may include certain dietary and lifestyle changes, medications etc.

I get a little bloated feeling after lunch. My normal diet is rice, Dahi, vegetables, and sometimes chicken mince, one wheat chapatti. I am prone to constipation. Sometimes I feel I have to evacuate, but I only pass wind. I do however pass stools minimum once daily. They are normal in colour.
Considering the above symptoms it might be GERD with IBS, consider visiting a nearby Gastroenterologist to evaluate, if not will get better with diet and lifestyle modifications.

I am a 46 year old female. 76 kgs. I have some severe acidity gastritis issues. I have been taking Nebicard 5 for the past 3 months for high BP. Still I get some pain in both sides of upper chest some times of the day. It goes away after some time. Any cause for worry about heart diseases?
It's appears to be symptoms of GERD to me, but we need to rule out heart problem first by doing ECG and ECHO and getting a cardiologist opinion. If there's no cardiac element, then gastric evaluation is needed. For cardiologists you can refer this page - Cardiologist in India.

Hair fall problem and digestive system related problem
In certain cases hair loss can be linked with your personal digestive issues, if at all your gut system is not able to extract the required nutrients and deliver to your hair, thus resulting in a hair fall. However, both could be existing independently for different reasons as well. We suggest that before you take up any treatment for hair loss, that you undergo treatment for digestive condition and wait for full recovery.
Even while taking up any hair loss treatment after complete recovery from digestive disorder, please consult your doctor along the lines of other antibiotics which you had taken prior, possibly complicating your hair loss treatment regime, or increasing your chances of landing in any post-treatment risk. Hii I am an 18 year old male. I had an endoscopy 2 months ago which showed H.Pylori gastritis. My doc has prescribed me esomeprazole, antacids and rebamipide for 15 days. Is there any particular way I have to take these meds? Any possible interaction between the antacid and rebamipide?? My doc has not instructed me properly.
Esoprazole need to take before food.
Antacid need to take after food.
Rebamipide need to take after food.
As you have H pylori gastritis, therefore you need to take HP kit for at least 15 days.

My friend's mother has been diagnosed with Ulcer proliferative lesion at mid Esophagus. Dr. has been suggested for the removal of esophagus and radio therapy. Would like to know about the other ways to cure this. Kindly suggest accordingly.
Carcinoma esophagus needs to manage in this way only if the standard practice is to do radiation followed by surgery. Start with as advised by your gastroenterologist

Hi, I have been waking in the early morning (usually between 4 and 5:30) with pain in my shoulders, back, chest or ribs. I am sure it is trapped wind because once I get up and walk around and release the gas by a lot of burping or going to the toilet, the pain goes away. I then try and get back to sleep though can find this difficult. A lot of the time the pain starts again usually 1-2 hours later. Once more, when I sit up it tends to go away, even without burping etc. I do have tenderness around my diaphragm sometimes or sensitivity when pressing to try and move the area. I seem to experience this nightly now regardless of dietary changes. I am a 45 year old male and in generally reasonable health. Thanks for your help. Paul
After going through the symptoms, it is likely due to Gerd or may be gastric ulcer. You need to consult a medicine doctor.
