As such gall bladder (GB) surgery, cholecystectomy is harmless surgery, however like any procedure / surgery, there are possibilities of complications like bile duct stricture, bile duct leak, diarrhoea, bleeding, etc. these complications are more likely if surgery is done for complicated gall bladder disease like GB empyema, GB impending perforation.

Normally gall bladder removal surgery is safe, and is one the routinely conducted surgery with almost no complication. But still any surgery may have its own complications, like incision bleeding, movement of surgical materials to other parts of the body, pain, or infection and others. Sometimes it is possible that the patient may experience digestive side effects after the removal of gallbladder. Like difficulty in digesting fat, diarrhea and flatulence, Constipation and others. Consult Gall Bladder Surgery doctors in Mumbai, or in any other city. Hope our answer helps you
