For a year now, I've had a flattened bump on my under arm. It first started out as a blackhead, so I popped it. After that it stayed for several months. I tried to pop it still several times but it was to painful. When I finally popped it, a brown, rock solid nugget popped out of it. Now, it has flattened down but is still purple-ish, giving the impression of being bruised, and still looks as if there is something still inside. What is it?
Looks like a Sebaceous cyst.
These cysts have to be removed surgically as if their wall is not removed, they recur.
Surgery for cyst removal is done under local anesthesia.
It gives a permanent solution.

My mom is 53 years old. She has toe nail fungus/infection. She has been advised for a surgery as soon as possible. She wanted to know its cost in India and recovery period.
Assuming that you will go for laser therapy to treat toenail fungus, then it will cost Rs. 30,000 to Rs. 90,000.
But if you are going for some other treatment, then let us know. Take care!

why doctors refuse hysterectomy?
Doctors fear the following when they make a decision on hysterectomy cases:
- They don't want complications with hormone production.
- They fear getting involved with the cases of forced sterilization of women.
- They are following the refusal policies prevalent at hospitals.
- They Fear side effects:
- as your body changes shape quite frequently when you enter menopause,
- vaginal dryness
- night sweats,
- hot flashes,
- urinary incontinence,
- bone density loss, and more.
If you are planning to undergo this surgery, then you should know that this surgery leaves you with a hanging abdomen, so you can safely combine it with Tummy tuck.

After 8 weeks of recovery from hysterectomy surgery, you will be able to perform the following activities:
- You will be able to return to work if your position does not require manual labor or heavy lifting.
- You will be able to drive.
- You will be able to exercise.

What symptoms will you be experiencing after 8 weeks of hysterectomy surgery?
- Numbness will begin to fade.
- Fatigue will persist even during this period (it should last 3 to 6 months, to be exact).
