Hey I have 7.5 month old male…He had an episode of seizure which can be described by the eye witness as shivering, fixed gaze, not responding to stimulus and making different faces…lasted for about 2minutes but was unresponsive and eyes remained still for 15 minutes when we just arrived at hospital….Since his legs and hands are always cold, didn’t notice temperature earlier but at the emergency hospital temperature of 102.8 f was recorded…They secured i/v line And was observed for 24 hours…During the stay crp was 15.6 and normal cbc, metabolites and sugar level…On discharge they RAT test which was positive…Is it febrile seizure? Do children with COVID present the sameor some other concern…? help

This seems to be an afebrile Seizure. Covid can increase the risk of febrile seizures in children.
