Hi, my MRI report says" Central and bilateral paracentral disc herniation at L5-S1 level causing thecal compression and right traversing nerve root impingement. The right paracentral component of the herniated L5-S1 disc is extruded". I feel pain in my buttocks and calf muscle on the right side. Is it possible to get cured by non-surgical treatment?

Hello, You are having nerve root impingement which is responsible for your pain. Analgesics will give some relief for some time. Non-surgical treatment will not be of much help in the long run. Final remedy for your case will be keyhole surgery by a spinal surgeon. For further guidance kindly consult a good Neurologist, our page can help with this regards - Best Neurologist in India.
