How can I treat PE and ED at 42?

Patient's Query

I am 42 years old mail and facing problem of PE and sometimes losing the erection. Problem has been more frequent in last couple of years. Pls suggest some medicine.

Answered by Dr. Madhu Sudan

You seem to be having one of our two common problems: premature ejaculation (PE) and erectile dysfunction (ED). PE is the case when you reach a climax too quickly, on the other hand, if your penis loses the ability to maintain an erection during sex you mean that you have ED. These can be caused by stress, anxiety, or physical reasons. To help with PE, you can try techniques like the start-stop method. Medication like SSRIs can be sometimes helpful as well. For erectile dysfunction, medications like Viagra can be useful. Discussion with a sexologist is the most important thing for personalized care.

premature ejaculation Problem while having sexual activities

Male | 28

Premature ejaculation is a sexual problem where a man orgasms too quickly and this can result in embarrassment and frustration. The most often encountered ones are finishing before you have a chance and feeling like you can't control it. The causes can be stress, anxiety, or some certain physical conditions. You can practice relaxation techniques, and communication with your partner, and use products like desensitizing sprays to cope with the issue.

Hello sir, I am 26 years old, I have been masturbating for the last 10 years. At present my condition has become very bad. I ejaculate within a few seconds. Presently it is happening with me that when the penis gets aroused, there is pain in the back and downwards due to which the penis cannot be moved here and there even with the hand. What could be the reason for this and how can this pain be relieved? Please give some advice, I am very worried.

Male | 26

When you stimulate your penis too often, you may experience pain and quick ejaculation. This could be caused by irritating the nerves in the genital area. To ease the pain, take a break from masturbation for a while. Concentrate on relaxation methods and light exercises. If the pain doesn’t go away, please consult with a healthcare professional.

I'm 23 years old , yesterday 01/04/2024 me and my girlfriend were together. I felt horny and I rubbed my pennis in her vagina but not pulled it in , I didn't cum but the liquid may be pre cum it's called was there when I saw my pennis, I don't know the liquid fell in there or not so I'm worried now , my partner can get pregnant or not , we are not married and also we never had sex just yesterday we did that just rub.

Female | 23

The fluid you talked about, called pre-cum, can sometimes have tiny sperm that might make a baby. Even without full entry, there is a small chance. Look out for missed monthly times or odd bleeding. To feel better, going to a clinic for emergency contrceptive pills may be a good idea.

I had taken Unwanted kit on January 12,still not periods yet. Before 3 days means February 2 I had unprotected sex, should I take any emergency contrapill for February 2 unprotected sex.?

Female | 24

It's understandable to feel concerned about your situation. If you had unprotected intercourse on February 2, taking emergency contraceptive pills is an option to prevent potential pregnancy, especially if it's within 72 hours. Since you haven't had your period after using the Unwanted kit on January 12, it’s also wise to monitor for symptoms of pregnancy. However, I strongly encourage you to consult with a healthcare provider, as they can offer personalized advice and ensure your health and well-being are prioritized. Remember, you're not alone, and professional guidance is available to support you.

Ek ladki se mene sex kiya hai voh sexual activity hai or protection use karthi hai likin mene bina protection ke saath kiya hai toh koi problem hogi kya

Male | 30

When it comes to sexual activity, it's important to remember that even with one partner using protection, there can still be a risk of sexually transmitted infections (STIs) if the other partner doesn't also use protection. This is because some infections can be transmitted through skin-to-skin contact. To address this, it's advisable for both partners to use protection consistently to reduce the risk of STIs. If you're worried about potential exposure, it's a good idea to consider getting tested for STIs. It's always better to take proactive steps for your health and well-being.
