Living with PCOD: My Experience with Bilateral Polycystic Ovaries

Patient's Query

Mujhe pcod h bilateral polycystic ovaries

Answered by Dr. Nisarg Patel

Aapka PCOD with bilateral polycystic ovaries ka diagnosis common hai, lekin treatable hai. Is condition mein hormonal imbalance hota hai jisse irregular periods, weight gain, acne, ya hair growth jaise symptoms ho sakte hain.

Main aapko suggest karunga ki aap regular exercise, balanced diet (low sugar & refined carbs), aur stress management follow karein. Zarurat ho to hormonal ya metabolic medicines bhi diye ja sakte hain.

Please gynecologist ke saath ek consultation schedule  kare so that check kar saken aur customized treatment plan tayar kar saken.

I had done an unprotected sex on 20th march and my period date is 24th march but I did not get my period and today is 30th March. Plz help me what to do?

Worrying when periods are late after unprotected sex is normal. Stress can disrupt menstrual cycles, yes. But pregnancy or hormonal shifts might also cause delays. Anxiousness or tension indicate stress. Taking an at-home pregnancy test provides certainty. Managing stress is key too - exercise, confiding in friends. Periods will return when the root issue resolves.

What happen if precum rubbing on outside of the vigina. a girl can pregnant or not

Female | 18

Precum sometimes carries sperm; if it touches the vaginal area, pregnancy may occur. Cleaning the area after contact helps too. A small chance exists, so taking precautions is wise. Though unlikely, that pre-ejaculate fluid could lead to conception. Protection and hygiene minimize the risk effectively.

missed periods ...................................................................

Female | 19

Variant reasons can come up with missing menstruation, like stress, fluctuations in weight, or hormonal deficiencies that cause it. If you haven't had your period, try to watch for other symptoms that may have come along with it, such as headaches or mood swings. If you worry, it's better to go and talk to someone you feel secure with, such as a parent or school nurse, who can then show you what to do to be of better help to yourself.

Am i pregnant? I’ve been having some slight cramping and I took a pregnancy test.

Female | 25

You didn't mention the pregnancy test and also even if it is possitive, you need to see your gynecologist. They can ask for some tests and confirm about pregnancy or any other health conditions

I haven’t had a cycle since October 28th it’s December 1st now should I take a pregnancy test?

Female | 20

Yes, it's a good IDEA to take a PREGNANCY test now. A MISSED period could mean PREGNANCY, but other factors including stress, weight changes, or medications could also be the cause.. PREGNANCY tests detect the hormone human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG) in URINE.. It's recommended to take the test in the morning as it's when hCG levels are highest.. If the result is negative and period doesn't come within a week, consider consulting with a HEALTHCARE provider..
