No, transgender women cannot get a period as they lack the necessary reproductive organs. Trans women, who were designated male at birth, are considered transgender. However, they do not have ovaries or a uterus, which are required for menstruation.

No, transgender women cannot get a period.

A trans lady is a transgender person,

  • Who has become male to female and
  • Women who were designated to be male at birth are considered transgender.

A trans woman lacks ovaries and a uterus because she was born with masculine gender identity. Trans women do not bleed or menstruate because they do not have uteruses, which shed and flow during menstruation. It is not possible for even those transgender women who have undergone sexual reassignment surgery (vaginoplasty).
