It remains for 5 days first 2 days comes in every 4-5 hours then next 2 days comes in every 13-14 hours and last 5th day it comes only once in 24 hours and then it goes.along with fever she get sore thorat as well every time. Is it just a viral or periodic fever syndrome because every time pattern and time is same
Female | 2
Based on your description, your daughter may have recurrent fever syndrome. This condition involves frequent episodes of high body temperature occurring in a regular pattern. It can result from various causes, such as infections, inflammation, or genetic factors. Since she also has a sore throat, a viral infection is likely the cause. Ensure she gets plenty of rest, drinks a lot of water, and takes fever-reducing medication if she has a fever. Make an appointment with a pediatrician as soon as possible and get her checked regularly.

My baby boy is 31 months old and he didn't talking still... That's express his needs with signs only ...what is the the problem?
Male | 31 months
When a child does not talk, especially when he or she is already 31 months old, a parent needs to respond to this issue immediately. It may be an early sign of a speech delay. Sometimes, hearing trouble or a delay in development could be the cause. The most effective way is through speech therapist intervention which may mean providing strategies to improve your child's language skills.

My baby is 3 months old and had a fall from bed 16 inch height. Should I consult a doctor ?
Female | 3 months
Sixteen inches is not high but keep an eye out. Your baby may cry hard, sleep much, vomit, or act strange. These signs mean check with a pediatrician right away. Continuous crying, sleepiness, throwing up, or odd behaviors after a fall need medical attention.

My daughter is 9 months old and she fell face first from a child’s lap onto the grass. I am wondering if I should be concerned
Female | 9 month
When a baby falls from so low a point, they may only get a bump or a little bruise. Observe your daughter for one or two days if she behaves strangely or shows signs of being in pain. If she looks all right and acts normal then she is probably fine. However, in case you notice any worrying things like vomiting a lot, sleeping too much, or becoming very irritable please take the child to a pediatrician for a check-up as soon as possible

My brother is 8 years old and he is 25 kg. He take 10mg Loratadine everyday and it has been 8 days since he started taking it. Today he accidentally took 20 mg. First time he took it was 3 hours ago and second time was 40 minutes ago. What can we do? Is it dangerous? We don’t have availability for doctor right now.
Male | 8
Accidentally taking a higher dose of Loratadine can cause symptoms like drowsiness, headache, or fast heartbeat, especially in children. Since your brother took 20 mg instead of 10 mg, it's important to monitor him closely for any unusual symptoms. Try to keep him calm and hydrated. If you notice severe symptoms or you're concerned, please seek immediate medical advice from a pediatrician or visit the nearest hospital for evaluation and guidance.

When we ask him to tell the word again, he will try but some time having difficulties and he stop saying and other time he tried and some how he is saying with wrong word like he will say mammy to ammy and bappi to appi, Not sure of the reason for this sudden change. Any advice will be helpful. Thank you.

The reasons may be varied. sometimes some parts of the brain can be affected as a result of shuttle ischemic attack (which is not uncommon in children) or maybe due to some metabolic cause that is affecting speech related to the brain. MRI BRAIN WITH MRI Spectroscopy should be done along with detailed physical &neurological examination of the child. Also, look for any worsening of other developmental domains for example difficulties in standing or in gripping something. You can also consult the Pediatricians for further information.

My baby is 48 days old but his umbilical cord is not cure yet ,there is yellow sticky fluid is formed
Male | 48days
The umbilical cord falling off entirely can take time, and this is normal. It's vital to keep it dry and clean. Normally, the yellow sticky liquid you see is a sign that the wound is healing. Use some warm water and a cotton ball to gently clean the area. If it looks red and swollen or has a bad smell, you should consult a doctor. Yet, you should take the necessary precautions and keep the area clean and dry.

Male | 15
Some people like you may wet the bed sometimes. Reasons could be sleeping deeply, having a small bladder, or feeling stressed. You can try things to stop it happening. Don't have drinks with caffeine before bed. Make sure you go to the bathroom right before sleeping. Use waterproof sheets on your bed too. It's okay, you don't need to feel embarrassed. Talk about it with a doctor. With some simple changes and time, the bed-wetting can get better.

My baby has tongue tie problem
Female | 2
Tongue tie happens when a baby's tongue is held down by a small piece of tissue. Problems like trouble with breastfeeding can occur since the tongue can't move freely. This issue develops if the tissue restricting the tongue is too short. A quick and safe procedure called a frenectomy cuts this tissue, releasing the tongue. Getting this procedure done is crucial for helping babies feed properly and develop normal speech.

My son accidentally swallows a bipilac tablet
Male | 13
If your little boy has swallowed a Bipilac tablet by mistake, don't panic. The most frequent symptoms of ingestion are upset stomach and perhaps some vomiting or diarrhea. The reason for this is that the stomach doesn’t like the pill. To make him feel better, make sure he drinks plenty of water and keep an eye on him constantly. It’s important to observe any strange behavior in your child and if there is any, call your local poison control centre at once.

Body Weakness fro my child
Female | 11
Kids may feel weak sometimes. Not getting proper nutrition from healthy food choices is one cause. Inadequate sleep or high-stress levels also contribute to weakness. Ensuring they follow a balanced diet, get sufficient rest, and manage stress helps increase energy levels. However, if weakness persists despite these measures, seeking medical advice from a pediatrician becomes necessary to identify and address any underlying issues.

Good morning sir/madam Penta vallent vaccine by mistake injected hand 0.01 ml in my baby any problem please tell me
Female | 31
It's okay if a small amount of the five-dose vaccine was given to your baby’s hand by mistake. The area may become red, swollen, or painful where the injection was made – this should disappear by itself. Keep an eye on it and if there are any strange changes or if you are worried at all contact a pediatrician.

My baby is not drinking enough milk or eating solids since few days. What can be done to increase his appetite?
Male | 6 months
It is typical for infant feeding patterns to fluctuate. However sustained low intake demands vigilance. Teething discomfort might reduce appetite. Try frequent smaller meals and different foods. Sufficient rest also aids appetite. If low intake persists, consult your pediatrician. Babies sometimes struggle with milk or solids due to temporary issues. Yet steady poor intake indicates potential concerns requiring medical evaluation.
