What tablet can I take for PCOS-induced amenorrhea?

Patient's Query

Im not getting periods after taking primolt n tablet as im suffer From pcos since 6 years now what tab can i take to get periods and im not pregnant too

Answered by Dr. Swapna Chekuri

It's not uncommon to experience irregular periods with PCOS. You see, PCOS can cause hormonal imbalances that affect your menstrual cycle. In fact, missing periods while not pregnant is quite common in PCOS. To help regulate your periods, I recommend consulting your gynecologist. They may suggest alternative medications or lifestyle changes to manage your PCOS symptoms and promote regular menstruation. It's important to address this issue to prevent any further complications.

It is typical to experience some discomfort after this surgery, however, if the pain is ongoing, it could be an indication of a problem. The pain may result from scar tissue, inflammation, or nerve damage. To alleviate your discomfort, reach out to your surgeon for an assessment to establish the cause and explore the best treatment alternatives for you.

It could be due to a variety of reasons like stress, illness, or pregnancy. It's important to take a pregnancy test to rule out the possibility of pregnancy or else you should consult a gynecologist for a proper evaluation. They will be able to provide a diagnosis and recommend appropriate treatment.

Mera period nhi aa raha hai kyo

Female | 20

If you are missing your period, it may be due to a number of reasons. Stress, weight loss and gain, hormonal dysfunction, or some health issues can be problems. In some cases, your period can be affected because of such reasons as heavy physical exercising or the use of medicines. Relaxation, healthy eating, and a balanced lifestyle may do it. However, if it continues, see a doctor for a complete check-up.
