Answered by Dr. Nisarg Patel

/It's a natural part of a woman's reproductive system. Ty*pically, periods usually start between the ages of 11 and 14, but it can vary for each person. Some may start earlier or a bit later, and that's perfectly normal. If you haven't started your periods yet and are worried, it's a good idea to talk to a gynecologist just to make sure everything's okay. They can give you a check-up and offer guidance tailored to your situation.

I recently had unprotected anal sex. Ejaculate was expelled shortly afterwards and then I took a shower. Less a few hours later, my partner placed a finger in anal cavity and then into my vagina; could this result in a pregnancy? Thanks….

Female | 23

When an egg is fertilized, that is called pregnancy. A sperm can swim and it can live for a little while outside the body. Pregnancy may occur if any sperm gets into your vagina. Keep an eye on strange symptoms such as missed periods or feeling sick (nausea). If you’re concerned, take a pregnancy test to put your mind at ease.

Female | 25

Getting pregnant is possible without sperm entering. You could experience missed periods, tiredness, sickness, or sore breasts if you're pregnant. Late periods don't always mean pregnancy, though. Stress and hormone changes can also cause them. If you're worried, take a home pregnancy test to feel better.

Female | 27

If you are observing a shorter than usual menstrual period, it could be that the cause is stress, hormone imbalance or a certain drug. It is advisable to visit a physician who specializes in women's reproductive health in order to diagnose the problem and to receive proper treatment.

Want to know do you need to to have surgery to remove fibroids to become pregnant or can you get pregnant even with fibroids

Female | 34

Having fibroids does not mean that a you cannot get pregnant, as many women with fibroids are able to conceive and have successful pregnancies. But fibroids can sometimes interfere with pregnancy if they are located in certain areas of the uterus or if they are very large. Only if the fibriods are causing certain symptoms then surgery to remove the fibroids is recommended.
