Patient's Query

I recently got involved in an accident,a month a go , last week I got my periods but this time it's abnormal like 7days,after Three days passed and very little blood now comes out, it's now Three days.i have been taking medication for the accident ampiclox but I had stopped when I realized I was in my periods.what could be the problem

Answered by Dr. Nisarg Patel

The irregular bleeding you're experiencing could be due to a few things. Firstly, the stress of the accident might have affected your cycle. Also, stopping the ampiclox suddenly could have played a role. In fact, some medications can impact menstrual flow. It's important to see a gynecologist to rule out any underlying issues. Meanwhile, try to rest, stay hydrated, and monitor your symptoms.

Hlo ma'am my last period will come on 20th August and end date is 25 th August...so I am do a sex on 8th of September with unprotected sex so ma'am pregnancy will occur or not????

Female | 19

On average, ovulation takes place around 14 days before your period up to the start of your next one. On the 1st of September, you were still in the risky day period. Symptoms that occur in the early stages of pregnancy can be the absence of periods, dizziness, and tender breasts. For the best results, a pregnancy test is the most reliable option.

am i pregnant? i discharged or bled a little bit of brown yesterday it was kind of clear as well, and today i feel so nauseous like i have to throw up. but im on depo and i think he pulled out in time idk he pulled me off but it was coming out right when he pulled me off. which was 3 days ago.

Female | 16

It is unlikely that you are pregnant if you were on the Depo shot and he withdrew. The brown discharge and feeling sick could be from hormonal changes or other causes, not necessarily pregnancy. Nausea can occur for many different reasons such as food poisoning or stomach problems. If you are concerned, take a pregnancy test to ease your mind.

Sometimes, light bleeding around menstruation can happen due to implantation. This is when a fertilized egg attaches to the uterus lining. Not everyone experiences implantation bleeding, but it's possible. No need to worry excessively. However, if uncertain, take a pregnancy test for reassurance. It is typical to experience some discomfort after this surgery, however, if the pain is ongoing, it could be an indication of a problem. The pain may result from scar tissue, inflammation, or nerve damage. To alleviate your discomfort, reach out to your surgeon for an assessment to establish the cause and explore the best treatment alternatives for you.

I had unsafe sex just after a of my period can I be pregnant? Because the sperm is not gone inside the vagina . please help me what to do ...to avoid pregnancy

Female | 19

You can even get pregnant if you have sex before your period is over. Sperm lives inside the body for up to five days so if you have had sex during your period, the sperm might fertilize an egg. To prevent pregnancy, it is advisable to use a type of contraception like condoms or birth control pills. Please contact a gynecologist for contraceptive pills
