Why does my bleeding continue after taking Methergin?

I have taken mtp kit on 15 sep and after a month I had taken 3 tablet of tranexa but mt bleeding does not stop so I had taken methergin 6 tablet, after taking methergin my bleeding gets slow and when I stop taking methergin my bleeding continues like before heavy bleeding with big clots
