Why haven't I had periods for 2 months?

Patient's Query

I haven't got periods from 2 months and the pregnancy test is negative, last 6 months same issue and I had tablet to get periods and got, but again same problem since 2 months what is the issue

Answered by Dr. Swapna Chekuri

There are a few reasons that you are not having your periods for two months despite a negative pregnancy test. Stress, hormonal imbalances, thyroid issues, or even excessive exercise could be at play here. It's important we figure this out. I recommend making an appointment with a gynecologist. They may suggest further tests like blood work or an ultrasound to get to the bottom of this. In the meantime, try to manage stress, eat healthily, and get enough rest.

Maybe it seems like you've got a small tear or cut down there. This is something that happens to girls sometimes, especially while on their period and the part is most sensitive at this time. It should get better in a while without any medical intervention. As long as you are gentle and take good care of that area it will get better.

My wife is 9 months pregnant and her sugar level is high. So I need some suggestions and how she can have a normal baby in this situation or not. The last baby is already born by cesarean.

Female | 28

If your wife's sugar levels are high during pregnancy, it's important to consult a specialist, such as an obstetrician or a maternal-fetal medicine specialist. They can provide personalized advice and monitoring to help manage her condition and ensure the best possible outcome for both her and the baby.

How many days after taking of last dydroboon tablet when to do pregnancy checkup

Female | 30

At least 14 days since the last Dydroboon tablet taken should pass between the pregnancy test and the medication. Nevertheless, consultations with a gynecologist or a reproductive endocrinologist are required for detailed guidance on performing the pregnancy test and to discuss any issues involved in taking Dydroboon while pregnant.

I'm experiencing severe nausea with back pain and lower abdominal pain. These are the symptoms I experience when I got pregnant last. My periods date was 5 August. I want to know whether I'm pregnant or it's a stomach issue

Female | 22

You’re experiencing strong nausea, a backache, and lower abdominal pain, and you’re wondering if you might be pregnant. These symptoms are common in early pregnancy, especially if you’ve had unprotected sex recently. However, they could also be caused by other digestive issues. The best way to find out is to take a pregnancy test. This will help confirm whether you’re pregnant or if something else is causing your symptoms.

I have missed my periods for 4 months and my stomach has become tight and bigger but I am not constipated. What should I do now?

Female | 39

If you miss your period for 4 months straight and notice a bloated bigger belly, you might be pregnant. Alternatively, it might be due to hormonal imbalance or other medical problems. To confirm, take a home pregnancy test. If results are negative, visit a doctor for further investigation.
