Why is my period lasting 15 days with heavy flow?

I am seeking your advice regarding an urgent issue. My period started on December 9th and has been continuing until today, December 24th (15 days in total). For the first 5–6 days, there was light spotting with dark or chocolate-colored discharge. However, after that, heavy bleeding started, and it has not stopped since. The most unusual thing is that while I usually experience significant pain on my thigh and lower belly during my periods, this time I am feeling no pain at all. Currently, its heavy flow,i need to use 2 pads a day. What should I do now, or what medication is needed to stop the bleeding? Please help me with urgent advice."

The prolonged bleeding you're experiencing, especially with the change in flow and absence of pain, could be due to hormonal imbalances, uterine fibroids, or even issues with the lining of your uterus. Sometimes stress or changes in weight can also play a role. What I'd recommend is schedule appointment for a check-up with gynecologist so he can determine the exact cause. In the meantime, make sure to stay hydrated and get plenty of rest. Avoid aspirin and instead, consider taking ibuprofen for now to help with the bleeding.
