Why no period with leg, back, head, breast pain?

Patient's Query

Fíjese que la última vez mi periodo fue el 12 de septiembre y pues ahorita no he tenido nada de mi menstruación o sea, tengo dolor de piernas dolor en espalda baja dolor de cabeza y dolor en los pechos y no no me viene

Answered by Dr. Swapna Chekuri

It's important to understand that missing a period can happen due to various reasons. Stress, hormonal imbalances, changes in weight, or even underlying medical conditions can all play a role. The symptoms you're describing like leg pain, lower back pain, headaches, breast tenderness, and a missed period could be related to hormonal fluctuations. However, it's crucial to rule out other potential causes as well. I recommend scheduling an appointment with a gynecologist for a thorough evaluation. In the meantime, try to manage stress, maintain a healthy lifestyle, and keep track of any changes in your symptoms.

i was recently diagnosed with a bacterial infection in my vagina , i’ve noticed very painful white spots surrounding my vulva, what are these? i’ve been on antibiotics for 2 days.

Female | 14

The white spots around your vulva could be a sign of severe bacterial infection, named as Bacterial vaginosis. It is recommended that the condition be confirmed by a gynecologist who can perform the necessary examination and diagnosis. Depending on the severity of the infection, additional treatment with antibiotics will be prescribed.

Hello, I want to know about my periods not coming. So last month Jan 2024, I engaged in unprotected intercourse roughly a week before my actual period dates then took an iPill. After few days yes my normal periods did come which was 28th January. Now February 2024 is gone and I haven't got my periods for this month

Female | 23

Missing your period may seem concerning, but it happens sometimes. The iPill can affect menstrual cycles. Reasons include stress, hormones, or being pregnant. Look for tiredness and nausea - they could signal pregnancy. Taking a test gives clarity.
