My daughter is 12 plus .she complains of breathlessness especially during night ,after which she sleeps nicely.she had a Ceasar on jan 10 this year for the first time and the reason is still not known after all check-up. She says she had an attack when she was trying to tell us she is not able to breathe well.Since that day she is worried and little anxious that same incident might not occur. This gave us an idea of meeting a pulmonologist who can help us.kindly suggest
It is best to have your daughter evaluated by a pulmonologist. The pulmonologist may recommend a variety of tests to assess her breathlessness, including a chest x-ray, spirometry, a complete blood count (CBC), and a complete metabolic panel. Depending on the results of the tests, the pulmonologist will recommend additional tests, such as an electrocardiogram (ECG) or a pulmonary function test (PFT). Additionally, the doctor can recommend taking medications to help manage her symptoms. It is important to monitor her closely for any changes in her breathing patterns.

I am 54 years old I had my spine surgery in 2015 in PGi Chandigarh now from last few months facing the problem of scatica what will be the treatment for scatica
We are extremely sorry for replying late, and since we don't know whether you got the required medical care and attention for your condition or not, therefore we will do our best to brief you on our analysis.
As you were operated for this condition before but it recurred, and also because you required an operation earlier to be able to cure it, therefore it's most likely a chronic type sciatica. If not, then otc medicines along with regular stretching exercises & walking must suffice.
For chronic type, you can get physical therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) – which helps people with pain management by training them to react differently towards pain, painkillers, and as a final resort, surgery.
Surgeries are as follows:
i.) Lumbar laminectomy: widening spinal cord present in the lower back to reduce pressure on nerves.
ii.) Discectomy: either partial or complete removal of a herniated disk.
A surgeon will do the cost benefit analysis of each treatment and suggest you the best possible option for your condition, so to get in touch with experts, you should refer our page, they could help with second opinions too - Best Orthopedic Doctor in India. Do update us on your condition and its progression, also, approach us whenever you feel like!

I am suffering from chronic liver disease and had ascites last month but now better after treatment. At Jan month My albumin 2.3, AST 102 & ALT 92 level is reduced albumin 2.7, AST 88 IU/L & ALT 52 IU/L. My USG report taken during ascites shows DCLD & liver reduced in size, measures 10.4cm & coarse parenchymal echo texture with surface irregularity noted.portal vein indistinct. Following a healthy diet. Kindly advise if my liver had chances to regenerate or symtoms goes worse. Any treatment to cure.
It is possible for the liver to regenerate, especially if the damage to the liver is not too severe. However, this is not always the case, and the extent to which the liver can regenerate may depend on the underlying cause of the liver damage.
There are several treatments that may be helpful in managing chronic liver disease. These may include medications to control symptoms and complications, such as ascites, and lifestyle changes, such as following a healthy diet and avoiding alcohol. In some cases, a liver transplant may be necessary if the liver damage is severe and not reversible.
You must follow your doctor's recommendations for treatment and to continue to monitor your liver function tests and other symptoms closely. It is also important to avoid activities that could further damage your liver, such as drinking alcohol and taking certain medications that may be harmful to the liver.

I had a scar on face slightly below the left eye. I want to know the procedure for scar removal/ laser treatment
Scars can result from acne, injury, independent surgical procedure, or pox. A dermatologist will be able to prescribe various solutions ranging from ointments, to injections, dermabrasion, chemical peel, laser and even surgery, to be able to treat it. Same will depend on the extent to which your scar is raised above your skin, or how dark it happens to be. While I think that CO2 laser or MNRF (Microneedling radiofrequency, a kind of cosmetic surgery) could help you, but no proper conclusion can be reached without prior consultation. Please refer to a dermatologist for this!
