I am not having periods. Hello Doctor, I am sharing details about my father, who is 64 years old. He has always lived a healthy lifestyle — he regularly practices yoga and meditation, does not eat outside food, and quit smoking 15 years ago. However, in the last 6–8 months, he has experienced a sudden weight loss of around 10 kg and has developed a lump in his neck. He had tuberculosis around 30 years ago and completed 6–8 months of treatment at that time. Because of that history, he initially thought that TB might have returned. He recently underwent a CT scan. Based on the report, the doctor also said that it does not look like cancer and that there is a 95% chance of it being TB. However, they advised that treatment cannot be started without FNAC or a biopsy.His FNAC report showed “Metastatic poorly differentiated carcinoma.” After that, we waited for the biopsy results. The biopsy diagnosis has also come as “Poorly differentiated carcinoma.” The report further mentions that Immunohistochemical (IHC) marker study is advised.I have shared all the reports of CT , FNAC, biopsy, Ihc marker , pet CT and the treatment details with you in the PDF. I wanted to ask whether the current treatment plan is correct with chemotherapy and immunotherapy and if we are on the best possible path for my father’s recovery. I want to make sure he is getting the best and most effective treatment available. And surgery is possible in this condition ? If there is anything more that should be added or any further tests or therapies you recommend, please let me know.
