Having stomach cramps, gurgling and diarrhea. Previous dr. gave medications on IBS, antibiotics All symptoms stop until the medicines are continued

Female | 16

There are chances you have Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) symptoms. When stomach aches, rumbles, and diarrhea occur, that suggests gut sensitivity. Antibiotics sometimes trigger these by disrupting gut bacteria balance. To ease discomfort, consume mild foods like rice, bananas, and toast in small portions. Stay hydrated by drinking lots of water. If problems persist, it's crucial to consult your doctor again.

My aunt has kidney problems. She undergoes kidney dialysis twice a week. She has worms in her intestines. He started taking exantal 500 mg along with vermox 500 mg to treat worms. After taking the medicines, there are worms in their intestines, they are coming out in thousands through the stool. So how long will they have to take the pills they are taking? The bugs are very small and there are black bugs along with big white bugs. Please tell me if there is any other treatment for this.

Female | 50

Your aunt has intestinal worms, but the good news is that medications like Exantal and Vermox can help get rid of them. It’s normal for worms to appear in the stool after taking the medication. She may need to continue taking the pills for a few more days to ensure all the worms are gone. If she still has worms after completing the treatment, it's important to consult the doctor for further options.

On 11th of June I remove my cholesterol test and it was high around 231 and my weight was 83 but today on 15th when I check my weight is 81 so two kg reduce and going gym as well and last 5 days no oil no masala..eating avocado fruit and healthy dieting ...so today I am going with my family for dinner so I can eat something from restaurant?

Male | 27

The level of bad cholesterol in the blood is capable of giving you a high risk of heart problems. Reaching a state of healthy weight and the right food choices one can use as supplementary units can help reduce hypercholesterolemia. Because you've been doing so well, you may eat out, but make sure you choose wisely. Prefer alternatives like roasted chicken or fish with greens instead of those stewed or cheesy dishes.

I was suffering from loose motion, vomiting, dizziness yesterday then I took salaine after that fever occurs and BP got too low.....and headache occurred too....why?

Female | 22

You probably experienced dehydration. This means your body lacked enough water and minerals. Loose motions and vomiting can lead to fluid loss. Drinking saline solution may help replenish fluids, but it could potentially cause fever due to an allergic reaction. Dehydration might also cause low blood pressure or headaches. Consuming water and resting can alleviate dehydration symptoms.

Hello, I am 20 and I have been experiencing excruciating pains in my stomach I need some tips on how to relieve the pain.

Female | 20

In some cases, stomach pain can be due to indigestion, inflammation of the stomach, or even a bug in your stomach. Skipping spicy or fat-heavy meals may assist you in this regard. Drinking ginger tea might also relieve you. Furthermore, the liquid intake should be very high.

i have pain in abdomen .

Female | 25

Stomach pain is no fun. It might seem like a small issue, but it could indicate something serious. It could be just gas or something you ate that disagreed with you. Or maybe it's a bug going around. But don't ignore it—conditions like appendicitis require medical attention. Stay hydrated and eat bland foods. If the pain persists or worsens, see a doctor. While belly aches are common, some need treatment.

Female | 50

This cleaner contains a strong chemical. If you accidentally drink it, it causes stomach pain, nausea, and breathing troubles. You should quickly drink lots of water. The water dilutes the hydrogen peroxide. Then immediately visit a hospital. They have treatments to remove it.

Im wondering if Ulcerative Colitis can affect a man's sexual ability causing ED. Either that or is it possible for UC to cause low testosterone? Is this possible without me taking any medications?

Male | 28

A situation that inflames the colon, ulcerative colitis, can result in symptoms such as abdominal pain, diarrhea, and fatigue. Even though inflammation and stress brought on by UC do not cause directly erectile dysfunction (ED) or low testosterone; they can have an impact on sexual health. The best way forward is to treat UC effectively while also finding ways of reducing stress.

Hi Sir, kindly help me out to get out of this pain, confusion and frustration. I am Rohan from Pune. This is my Clinical summary -Rohan, a 29-year-old male, presented with chief complaints of reflux symptoms and severe abdominal pain persisting for the past 3 months. And episodes of diarrhea.Upon examination, his vital signs were stable. Diagnostic procedures, including gastroscopy and colonoscopy, were performed, leading to the diagnosis of a duodenal ulcer, pan gastritis and pathological findings of lymphocytic colitis. The treatment approach involved the administration of medications, as mentioned in the prescription, to manage the condition. Regular follow-up visits were recommended to monitor the progress and adjust the treatment regimen accordingly. After two and a half months of treatment, significant improvement was noted, with no abdominal pain reported, and the patient's overall well-being has improved. Consequently, the dosage of medications has been reduced. Continued monitoring and adherence to the prescribed treatment plan are necessary to ensure complete resolution of symptoms and prevent recurrence. This was my condition eight months ago. Right now I am very frustrated because of gut problem. It's paining even after following treatment and strict diet for eight months. I almost lost 8 kg. I went for second opinion(Leading Gastroentrologist in pune) . That doctor told me that your ulcers are healed completely. And lymphocytic colitis was misdiagnosed. Now It's a IBS that causing the pain and not colitis. He prescribed me Librax(Clinidium+chlorobenzodioxide) two times in a day along with Amixide h(chlorobenzodioxide +amitryptiline) . Whenever my gut starts paining I took it and pain goes away completely like that problem doesn't exist.I am very confused about this.Stomach pain goes away and comes back. About year ago this problem has started. And just took those above medicines to cope up with pain One more thing to add here is that I was diagnosed with GAD (generalized anxiety disorder) few years back. I was taking escitalopram( Lexapro 10 mg)on and off prescribed by psychiatrist. But My Gastroenterologist told me to stop using lexapro as it can cause ulcer. So I stopped using it completely since year. I want to get completely rid of these medicines and want to live normal life.

Male | 29

Gut issues can be challenging. You've successfully healed ulcers, which is great, but IBS challenges remain. IBS is common and can cause belly pain, bloating, and changes in bowel habits. Often, stress or certain foods trigger it. Medications like Librax and Amixide H, prescribed by your gastroenterologist, can help manage the symptoms. However, lifestyle changes are also important. Stress relief methods, regular exercise, and a fiber-rich, healthy diet can make a significant difference.
