Can stress cause bruising

Female | 23

Worry does not leave marks on your skin. However, it may cause restlessness. Restless people sometimes scratch or bump into objects. This can result in bruises forming. Feeling tense weakens your body's defenses. A weakened immune system makes bruising more likely. To prevent stress-related bruising, you should find ways to relax. Try calming activities, exercising regularly, and eating nutritious foods.

I'm 22 years old male. I have some fungal infections in my hip and my leg in almost 18+ months. I have some skin care creams but not cure

Male | 22

A persistent fungal infection is quite often the cause of discomfort, it may be accompanied by itching, redness and flaking of the skin. Among the very common causes are exposure to moisture, hot conditions, and touching surfaces that are infected with fungus. Sometimes, it is not enough to merely find an over-the-counter cream that gives you temporary relief; it can well be improved, but sometimes a total solution is still impossible. My choice is the use of complex treatments that may be also over the counter, for example, antifungal drugs given on doctor’s recommendation along with making sure cleanliness and the affected areas are kept dry. A visit to the doctor often is the time for specific ways of dealing with the situation and also for quicker management of the condition. You are not alone in it. If you are still hesitating, remember that professional help can actually solve your problems very brilliantly.

Hello. Roughly one month ago I purchased a home wart removal kit to remove what appeared to be a benign wart on the back of my knee. The nozzle on this device broke during use, spraying an area roughly two inches in diameter on my skin with dimethyl ether. This caused a small superficial frostbite/burn, but didn't take care of the wart so I used another kit afterwards which used a swab rather than a nozzle. After using both of these, the area blistered. This blister quickly popped and fell off on its own after just a day, leaving an area of incredibly raw and bloody skin. I applied neosporin to this area regularly and kept it clean allowing it to heal. It's been a month now and while this area isn't entirely healed, it has protective skin on it now. My issue here is the area has a blotchy dark coloration now, looking almost like bruising. This seems odd to me given that it's been a month now, should I be worried about this coloration? There is no pain at the site, though the skin there is quite thin and rough.

Male | 32

Its natural to experience discoloration in skin especially after a blister or wound has occurred. color changes during the healing process. It could be due to hyperpigmentation which is the increased production of melanin in that area. This can result in a bruise-like appearance.
