My vitamin b12 level is 61 what should I do my doctor has suggest injection but I don't want to take injection then he suggest flower od cap can I get my b12 requirements fullfill form this tablet
Female | 16
A large amount of B12 could induce numerous health problems such as exhaustion, susceptibility, and a tingling sensation in the hands and feet. Lack of B12 in your food and drink is the main cause. Consuming a B12 supplement such as a flower od cap can increase your levels, HOWEVER, the injections are more reliable and quicker. One good way to go about this is to have regular doctor visits so one can get enough B12 for the proper functioning of their body.

I lost 10 k of my weight without any diet I made most medical tests and no answer for my case
Male | 55
Unexplained weight loss can be due to various reasons like thyroid issues, diabetes, digestive disorders, or even stress. Since your medical tests haven't provided answers yet, it might be helpful to consult with a specialist like an endocrinologist or a gastroenterologist for a more in-depth evaluation. In the meantime, try to keep track of any other symptoms you may be experiencing and make sure to stay well-hydrated and nourished.

I HV been diagnosed with thyroid level 4.84 and TB gold as >10 infection.what does it mean
Female | 38
Your thyroid is 4.84, it is slightly elevated which shows that there may be an issue with your thyroid. Moreover, TB Gold >10 suggests a possible infection of tuberculosis. These signs may differ, for instance, fatigue, weight gain or loss as well as coughing up blood could all indicate this disease. The cause is either malfunctioning glands in the neck region or exposure to TB bacteria through inhalation into one’s lungs. Therapy involves drugs that normalize hormone production by these organs and anti-TB medications if necessary.

I am 59 years female and I have HYPOTHYROIDISM. Last week I got my lab tests done and the reports show T4 - 6.1 ugh/dL TSH - 19.100 ulU/mL So, my Q is, what strength or how many micro grams LEVITHYROXINE medication should I take?
Female | 59 years
Your lab results indicate that your TSH level is elevated, suggesting that your thyroid hormone replacement might need adjustment. Symptoms of hypothyroidism can include fatigue, weight gain, and cold intolerance. The dosage of levothyroxine typically starts low and is adjusted based on TSH levels and individual response. It’s vital to consult your endocrinologist to determine the appropriate microgram strength for your needs. Regular monitoring is essential to ensure effective management of your condition.

Female | 22
It’s nice to know you are regular in periods, which is a good indication. The ovarian follicles you’ve mentioned suggest a common condition that is usually found in polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS). This disease can initiate hormone imbalance, which might be the reason for the testosterone levels you are getting. The medicines that you have been given such as Cyproterone can be helpful in the management of symptoms and regulation of hormones. It is crucial to follow a balanced diet chart and do regular exercise as part of a healthy lifestyle. You should keep on talking with your gynecologist about your concerns so that you get the proper treatment and encouragement.

high TSH level, need suggestion
Female | 26
A high TSH level indicates that your thyroid is not producing enough hormones, which can lead to symptoms like fatigue, weight gain, and sensitivity to cold. Common causes include Hashimoto's thyroiditis or iodine deficiency. To address this, it's essential to consult a gynecologist for appropriate testing and treatment options, which often involve medication to help regulate hormone levels. Maintaining a balanced diet and regular exercise can also support overall health.

Female | 22
It's common for some girls not married to have nightfall (also called wet dreams) a couple of times a month. This is generally the result of hormonal fluctuations in your body. It is not a problem, and it will not have any effect on your married life or health. You can talk to a doctor for more reassurance if you are feeling worried.

Untreated diabetes weight loss medication and urine smells like sewer
Female | 44
If you do not take care of diabetes, you may lose weight. Your pee might also smell bad. This happens when your body cannot use sugar right. It starts using fat and muscle for energy instead. This causes weight loss. To fix this, you must control your diabetes. Eat healthy foods, exercise, and take medicine as told. This will help keep your blood sugar levels normal.

Serum AMH 1.83 Do i have health issue
Female | 29
Having a serum AMH level of 1.83 is actually within the normal range for many people, so it's not necessarily a cause for alarm. AMH, or anti-Mullerian hormone, is a marker of ovarian reserve, which means it gives us an idea of how many eggs you have left. A level of 1.83 could still mean you have a good number of eggs remaining. However, if you're concerned about fertility or planning to have children, it might be helpful to discuss this result with a gynecologist who can provide more personalized advice based on your specific situation.

I am 20 y.o and experiencing hypogonadism symptoms, yet my bloodwork is completely fine. I tested Testosterone total, testosterone free, TSH, LH, FSH, prolactin, estrogen - everything was within ranges. Still though, symptoms are real: erectile dysfunction, low libido, delayed puberty (no genital growth at all, voice is still too high for a man, facial hair is kinda scarce, pubic hair is dark, but chest hair is nonexistent). Ultrasound showed, that my testicles are around 6.5 ml in volume. What could it be, if not hypogonadism? What else would you suggest testing? I'm going to redo my bloodwork in September
Male | 20
With these symptoms, it seems you are battling the hard times. I would like to recommend checking your adrenal glands and thyroid function, which, if imbalances are found, could cause symptoms similar to the one you are having. Besides, a Klinefelter syndrome genetic test may be worth considering. This syndrome is one that men have which comes from the addition of an X chromosome. It is very positive that you are taking the initiative to have your blood work repeated. That's why we can rule out other potential causes of your symptoms.

Female | 22
An imbalance in hormones, be it through raised estrogen levels or increased testosterone levels, can cause conditions such as polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS). The symptoms may involve periods that are not regular, large amounts of hair growth, and changes in weight. The vegetation you stated, namely, Ashwagandha and pomegranate, are very useful to support hormonal health. Nevertheless, their impact can be different for each person. Besides, it is necessary to take into account diet, lifestyle, and overall health too. I urge you to seek advice from a qualified doctor who can give targeted health support and ensure safe and efficient treatment specific to your particular needs. The main factor for staying healthy is obtaining professional support.

Hi my vitamin d tests came back as 26.3 Can i take vit d3 60000iu capsule weekly once and till how much time i should continue
Male | 39
You have low vitamin D, only 26.3. That's too little. Low vitamin D causes tiredness, weak muscles, and bone pain. Take 60000 IU vitamin D3 capsules weekly. Do it for 8 to 12 weeks, or how long your doctor says. Get tested again to check if your levels improve. Eat healthy foods and spend some time in the sun to raise vitamin D further.

Female | 23
You are suffering from PCOD which is responsible for weight gain, face acne, and excess facial hair growing from your face and additional regions on your body. PCOD is a hormonal imbalance that can cause these symptoms. Consuming a well-planned meal, doing physical activity regularly, and dealing with stress properly are also ways to eliminate the problem. Consult a doctor for further opinion.

I've been gaining weight suddenly , I have had PCOS for 4 years now but suddenly last year I started gaining weight , i changed from 58kg to 68 kg in just a year or so . I've not changed by diet much but still I am gaining weight, and when I try to exercise I am getting really short of breath , I can't even exercise the most simple things
Female | 22
The weight gain could be due to your PCOS which can produce imbalances in hormones and influence metabolism. The shortness of breath accompanying exercise could indicate poor fitness or be a symptom of an underlying health problem. A gynecologist's visit is needed for a full assessment and advice on how to handle your PCOS and weight issues. In the meantime, try gentle exercises like walking and focus on a balanced diet to help improve your health.

Feeling low, lacking appetite, and being underweight could indicate an underlying issue. These symptoms might result from not eating enough healthy food, an unhealthy lifestyle, or certain medical conditions. To improve your health, try eating a balanced diet with fruits, vegetables, and whole grains, and stay hydrated. Regular exercise can also boost your appetite and overall well-being. If these changes don't help, it's advisable to consult a doctor for proper tests and guidance.
