Patient's Query

I am 50 year old hypertensive patient with diabetes 2. I had a brain stem stroke in 2012 and recovered. Now i am taking following medicines : Blood pressure: Azilsartan 40mg , Blood thinner : clopitab 75mg Diabetes : Stigliptin phosphate hcl 50/1000mg Depression: Sertraline 50mg My question : can i take viagra as i am facing erectile dysfunction. I was asked to ask a sexologist for his opinion.

Answered by Dr. Madhu Sudan

Erectile dysfunction is a common issue, particularly for individuals with diabetes and high blood pressure. Medications like Viagra (sildenafil) can be effective, but it’s crucial to consult your healthcare provider first, especially given your medical history and current medications. This ensures that it’s safe for you and prevents any possible interactions. Your doctor can guide you on the best approach for your situation, taking your specific health conditions into account.

I am 24 years old I am started to mastrabution my self from last 4 years. But I cant able to control or avoid from last 4 years. I am getting weak and Stress, let me know what are the effects mastrubation

Male | 24

Masturbation is a usual practice that many people can do. Normally, it does not damage anything. Being lightly and heavily depressed can be the cause of increased tension due to the lack of sleep. It's better to give preference to healthy foods.

Suffering from low libido

Male | 24

Having a low sex drive is common, meaning you don’t feel like having sex often. Signs include not feeling excited about intimacy and rarely thinking about it. Stress, being tired, and hormone changes can cause this. To help, try to relax, get enough rest, talk with your partner, and seek counseling if needed.

A boy did finguring with sperm on it cause pregnancy

Female | Rachita

If the sperm from fingering gets into a girl's vagina, the girl could become pregnant. Some of the symptoms are no periods, vomiting, and tender breasts. Sperm can survive in a female's body for a maximum of 5 days. As a preventive measure, using condoms that can hinder sperm from reaching the egg is advisable for birth control.

I masturbrated with hairbrush last night and it’s bleeding now

Female | 27

It sounds like you may have hurt yourself during the activity. Bleeding from that area can happen if there was too much friction or pressure. It's important to wash gently with water and keep the area clean. Avoid any further rubbing or pressure. Let it heal naturally. If bleeding continues, seems excessive, or you experience any pain or signs of infection, visit a doctor.

Premature ejaculation hote he iska koe upai he kya

Male | 33

It's actually a common issue that many men face. There are various reasons for it, such as stress, anxiety, relationship problems, or even certain medical conditions. First, I recommend speaking with a sexologist to rule out any underlying medical causes. They can provide guidance tailored to your specific situation. Additionally, techniques like the stop-start method, pelvic floor exercises (Kegels), or counseling can also be helpful.
