Answered by Dr. Himali Patel

Symptoms mein mood swings, fatigue, ya body mein changes shamil ho sakte hain. Is situation se handle karne ke liye, sabse pehle toh unhe relaxation techniques ya light exercise try karna chahiye. Agar ye problem jari rahe, toh gynecologist se milna zaroori hai. Woh appropriate tests karke behtar samajh payenge aur sahi treatment de sakte hain.

Constant heavy period for three months. Got the coil to stop this years ago, but now it’s out it’s stated again. No other symptoms bar calcium deficiency. Ultrasounds apparently clear.

Female | 29

When the coil is out, it's back again. It's good to know that your ultrasounds are clear and that the only other concern is calcium deficiency. Well, sometimes a hormonal imbalance can cause prolonged heavy periods. In fact, it might be a good idea to have your hormone levels checked. In the meantime, make sure you're getting enough iron and calcium in your diet.

The symptoms you have mentioned are caused by hyperthyroidism. These imbalances can affect your period too and result in what you explained. You need to talk to a doctor about these signs so that they can suggest treatment plans and also ensure that your levels of thyroid are being properly taken care of.

My wife periods are late for 6 days

Female | 20

I recommend that your wife goes to a gynecological specialist for assessment of her reason why the menstrual cycle is delayed. Late periods may be caused because of pregnancy, hormonal imbalances related to stress or by some other medical complications. The diagnosis will allow a gynecologist to offer the necessary guidance and treatment.
