Why does cervix ectropion cause lasting post-intercourse pain?
Pain after intercourse lasts for weeks....I got cervix ectrpion. My last pap smear result is: Benign-looking squamous epithelial cells admixed with benign looking endocervical cells and a few acute inflammatory cells.

Pain lasting weeks post-sex (esp cervical excision) is worrying. Looking at your pap results, seems there are ordinary cells plus little inflammation; all could cause this discomfort.
