What r the new surgical methods available for bph( benign prostate hyperplasia) Is green laser surgery or REZAM available in any hospital in gujarat

Answered by Samruddhi Bhartiya

We are only aware of the following surgical methods, if you consider yourself fit for any and if some option hasn't been discussed between you and your doctor yet, then our message might help you!

You can consider least invasive surgeries if: your stream of urine is weak, if you have to strain to pass your urine, if you frequently experience incomplete emptying of bladder, or if you have blocked urinary tract, bladder stones and/or blood in urine.

Your options for same are: Prostatic urethral lift, Water vapor thermal therapy, transurethral microwave therapy, or catheterization ((which again has 2 types: Clean and Indwelling)).

For more invasive surgeries your options are: Transurethral incision of prostate, Photoselective vaporization, Transurethral resection of prostate, Laser enucleation of prostate ((either holmium laser, KTP laser, greenlight laser, or thulium depending on wavelength)), Transurethral vaporation of prostate, Transurethral water-jet ablation, and Simple prostatectomy.

Discuss these options with your doctor at length. Regarding greenlight laser, we have heard about it being used but can't be sure which hospitals deploy this laser technology.

Bar bar urine aana or vegina me jalam

Female | 44

Frequent urination and a burning sensation in the vagina could be indicative of a urinary tract infection (UTI) or a vaginal infection. It's important to consult a healthcare professional/ urologist for proper diagnosis and treatment. It's often caused by bacteria entering the urinary tract, and vaginal infections can be caused by yeast or bacterial overgrowth. These conditions require medical attention to prevent complications and alleviate symptoms.

I have urinary tract infection from past 6 days ....as I'm taking syrup...but it's paining severely while urinating... frequency of urination occurs....

Female | 21

If you are having burning pain, and frequent urination with a possibility of kidney infection, then it could be the reason. However, UTIs are usually caused by bacteria that have already entered the urethra. If the infection is some complicated type, you might require antibiotics to clear it up.
