Why am I experiencing late period and abdominal pain?

Patient's Query

Hello ma'am , I am 42 years old and still I have no child last month I got my periods but very less bleeding full time but this month I missed my periods my due date is 26 nov but today is 4 December . Abdominal pain looks like during periods but I am not getting my periods . Now what can I do

Answered by Dr. Swapna Chekuri

The reasons for these symptoms can vary. Sometimes, stress, hormonal imbalances, or even changes in weight can affect your menstrual cycle. In your case, it's important to rule out pregnancy as a possible cause, even if your periods were lighter last month. I recommend taking a home pregnancy test to check that. If it's negative, and your symptoms persist, it's best to see a gynecolgoist for a thorough evaluation and appropriate management.

Talk about misscarrige complete or not

the reasons for abortion are usually genetic anomalies or hormonal imbalances. In case you go through difficulties like vaginal bleeding and abdominal pain during pregnancy, see your obstetrician or gynecologist. The doctor will inspect the situation and decide if the miscarriage is finished or not. Immediate medical advice needs to be sought to rule out other possible health issues.

Ihave pinworm caused vaginal inflammation wha ido

Female | 22

Pinworms are tiny worms that infect the intestines and can sometimes spread to the vaginal area. They cause itching and redness. Medication can eliminate them, but it's important to wash bedding and clothes frequently to prevent the infection from spreading. Always remember to wash your hands before eating.
