Light bleeding during your menstrual cycle can occur for various reasons, including hormonal changes, stress, or underlying health issues. It's understandable to feel concerned, especially if you're also experiencing challenges with conception. Focus on maintaining a balanced lifestyle, including a healthy diet and stress management. However, given your symptoms, it’s crucial to consult a gynecologist for a comprehensive evaluation. They can provide personalized advice and help identify any underlying causes.

Female | 17

If Plan B was used after ovulation, it could influence your period. Plan B's function is to postpone ovulation, which may affect timing. Therefore, it's possible for period delays after taking it. Irregular bleeding and cycle fluctuations are potential symptoms.

I have bacteria vagosis for a long time I had been using antibiotics for treatment but it came back and sometimes I don't treat it at all but my cervical mucus is like normal I'm scared if I'm going to have problems in future especially in matters for pregnancy

Female | 18

The antibiotic usage might alleviate symptoms temporarily, and yet the main cause of infection should be treated to avoid further complications. However, procrastination in treatment can cause sterility problems later on and, particularly during pregnancy. Thus, it is recommended to see a specialist and follow the prescribed treatment prescription.

Hello, I had sex on 7.8.2025 and I'm worried about the possibility of pregnancy. Let me explain to you in more detail. I've been on birth control pills for 10 months since last year. I take them at about the same time, sometimes I'm 2-3 hours late. I had my last gynecological examination in June 2025 and then she told me that my ovaries are as they should be when I'm on birth control. My intercourse started 3 days after my period ended, that is, on 1.8 I started and ended on 4.8 and the intercourse was on 7.8. 3 weeks after having sex, I had 4 days of bleeding that also had blood clots, I usually have that during my period and it was normal red blood and at the end it was brown. The bleeding started on 24.8 and lasted until 26 or 27.8. For the next two months I didn't get my period when I was supposed to, I had some kind of grayish discharge and maybe some brownish spot on the tampon, so it bothers me a lot. That sexual intercourse wasn't with a condom, but first it was vaginal, then anal, then vaginal, then anal, and it ended anal. I personally didn't feel him cum inside me. I don't have any symptoms of pregnancy, so I didn't even test because I would have had some symptoms, and I had that bleeding 3 weeks after intercourse. My cycle usually lasts 28 days according to contraception, and I have bleeding for 4 days

Pregnancy, stress or hormonal imbalances may be a reason in skipping a period for one month. You should see a gynecologist that will evaluate your problem and treat accordingly
