It's not uncommon for the menstrual cycle to be a bit irregular after taking emergency contraception like the morning-after pill. The pill works by delaying ovulation, which can temporarily affect your period. It's normal for your cycle to be a few days late or early. However, if it's been more than a week since your expected period and you're worried, it might be a good idea to take a pregnancy test for peace of mind. In the meantime, try to stay calm and give your body some time to regulate itself. If you have any more questions or if things don't seem to get back on track, schedule an appointment with gynecologist for further diagnosis.

18 year old girl who have been staying with his boyfriend but I went to my periods on 25 of December but just after 5 days I started having cramps and it's been 6 days and the painkillers are not working at the same time we were having unprotected sex

Female | 18

It's not uncommon to experience cramps after your period, especially with hormonal changes, stress, or if you've had unprotected intercourse. Pain that lingers and is unresponsive to over-the-counter medications warrants further attention. I encourage you to keep a record of your symptoms, including their intensity and any additional concerns, like changes in your cycle. Consulting a healthcare professional is essential to rule out any underlying issues and to receive suitable pain management. Remember, it's always best to seek personalized advice from a doctor who can address your specific situation thoroughly. Your health and comfort are important.

Last month im a pregnant and i use unwanted kit pregnancy remove and this month periods missing i check pregnancy test its negitave but periods not came

Female | 18

I urge that any medication to terminate pregnancy should never be used without consulting a doctor. The misuse of the kit can cause discomfort and should be used only as prescribed. Missing periods after use of the kit could be a sign of some other problem. A gynecologist recommended for a full examination and clear advice on what to do next.
