Should I Be Concerned About Retained Placenta After Medical Abortion?

I tried to do medical abortion. I took 1 mifepristone by swallowing. After 24 hours- 800mcg misoprostol vaginally. And 3 hours after that 400mcg misoprostol vaginally and more 400mcg misoprostol with 3 hours interval. Took total 5 doses of misoprostol like this including the first dose of 800mcg. After that my gestational sac came out in the morning while i was sitting on toilet. But i did not bleed at all. My pregnancy tissues and placenta did not pass too as i did not bleed before or after passing the sac. The embryo was inside the fluid like white colored sac. I was 12 weeks pregnant. Its now 36 hours and i did not bleed still. Should i wait for my bleeding to start? I took more misoprostol doses after my sac passed to start my bleeding but did not work. Will all the pregnancy tissues will come out naturally? Will my bleeding start naturally after some days? Will my pregnancy tissues and placenta pass if i wait? a doctor told me to use 2tab Co-Amoxiclav 625mg PO bid for 1week, 2tab metronidazole 400mg PO tid for 1week. this medicines are for infection. Will the placenta come out when bleeding will happen naturally after waiting ? i am confused and also very worried.

Am I managing my diabetes effectively at age 48?

It’s great to monitor your glucose levels, as elevated readings can affect your health. High blood sugar can lead to increased thirst, frequent urination, fatigue, and blurred vision. Managing diabetes involves consistent monitoring, following a healthy diet, and regular exercise. Ensure you take your prescribed medication as directed. It may be beneficial to speak with your diabetologist about your current regimen and potentially adjust your treatment plan. Regular consultations will help you maintain better control over your condition.

Could Hormonal Changes Cause Fatigue and Low Mood?

Persistent tiredness, low blood pressure, diminished energy, and a feeling of sadness can stem from various factors, including hormonal fluctuations. These symptoms may signal issues like adrenal or thyroid function or stress. It's essential to focus on a balanced diet, regular physical activity, and adequate sleep to enhance your overall well-being. Incorporating stress management techniques, such as mindfulness or relaxation exercises, can be beneficial as well. However, I recommend consulting with a healthcare professional for a comprehensive evaluation and personalized guidance.

Is 145 Platelet Count in Blood Test Concerning?

A platelet count of 145 is slightly below the normal range, which typically starts around 150. This might not indicate a serious issue, but low platelet counts can sometimes lead to symptoms like easy bruising or prolonged bleeding. Many factors can cause this, including infections, certain medications, or underlying health conditions. It’s essential to discuss your results with a healthcare professional who can evaluate your overall health and recommend any necessary follow-up tests or treatments. Maintaining a balanced diet and regular check-ups is beneficial.

Should I Be Concerned About Retained Placenta After Medical Abortion?

Not all pregnancy tissue may have passed yet. While some women do experience bleeding days after taking medication, others may not bleed significantly. The medications prescribed are to prevent infection, which is important. Retained tissue can lead to complications, but not experiencing bleeding does not necessarily indicate that is occurring. It’s crucial to follow up with your gynecologist to evaluate your situation and ensure proper care.

Will I Experience Bleeding After Medical Abortion Complications?

It’s understandable to feel anxious after your experience. Retained tissue can happen, especially if bleeding hasn't occurred. It's essential to monitor your symptoms, and waiting a few days is reasonable, but if you experience severe pain, fever, or heavy bleeding, seek medical attention immediately. The medications prescribed can help prevent infection. While the placenta and tissues can pass naturally, I recommend consulting a gynecologist to ensure everything is progressing safely.

Why do I feel frequent daytime urination with little output?

It's understandable to be concerned about your daughter's symptoms. Frequent urges to urinate, with minimal output, can indicate several factors, such as dehydration, anxiety, or urinary tract issues. The absence of pain is a positive sign, and the good sleep at night is reassuring. Encourage her to drink plenty of water throughout the day to ensure proper hydration. Keeping a diary of her fluid intake and bathroom habits may also help identify patterns. However, it's important to consult a pediatrician to rule out any underlying conditions and get tailored advice.

Why are black lines on my nails spreading?

The appearance of dark vertical lines on your nails can be due to several factors, including benign conditions such as pigment changes or more serious concerns like fungal infections or discoloration associated with underlying health issues. It's essential to observe any additional symptoms, like pain or changes in nail thickness. I recommend keeping your nails clean and moisturized and avoiding harsh chemicals. However, the best course of action is to schedule a visit with a dermatologist. They can evaluate your situation properly and provide tailored advice.

Why do my nails have black vertical lines?

The appearance of dark vertical lines on your nails, known as longitudinal melanonychia, can arise from various factors, including benign changes, nail trauma, or, in some instances, underlying health conditions. While it is often harmless, changes in nail pigmentation should be evaluated to rule out more serious issues. I strongly encourage you to schedule an appointment with a dermatologist for a thorough assessment. They can provide you with a clear diagnosis and appropriate recommendations tailored to your specific situation.
