Could severe migraines with vision loss and high fever be related to heart condition?

Patient's Query

I have been suffering from migraine for a long time. It wasn’t that severe before, but now it has gotten much worse. When the migraine becomes very intense, I lose control over myself — I start talking to myself and can’t understand anything. Tears come from my eyes, the pain is so severe that it feels like someone is hitting me with a hammer. I can’t see anything during the attack. This pain happens every day, and along with it, I also get a high fever. I am also a heart patient.

Answered by Dr. Gurneet Sawhney

Migraines can indeed vary in intensity and frequency. In your case, with the increasing severity and accompanying symptoms like fever, it's crucial to consider seeking urgent medical attention. These symptoms could indicate a more complex migraine condition or possibly another underlying issue that needs addressing, especially given your history of heart problems. It's important to have a thorough evaluation by a neurologist to explore treatment options that can improve your quality of life. In the meantime, try to manage stress, stay hydrated, and maintain a consistent sleep schedule.

I am 41 years old, since 1 year I feel dizzy, can't concentrate on any work, body feels weak, sometimes headache, forehead, head and eyes feel heavy.

You may be showing signs of stress, sleep deprivation or even not drinking enough water. When we are under pressure and worn out our bodies feel feeble and our heads become heavy. Rest well, take water regularly and have short breaks during work to unwind. Consider seeking further advice from a medical professional if these feelings persist.

Suffering from Health Issues and Also Headache

Male | 23

The possible reasons may be stress, lack of water, or lack of rest, to mention a few. In this case, make yourself feel better by drinking enough fluids, eating the right nutrients, and doing calming activities like deep breathing or meditation. Sleep habits are also important. Nonetheless, if the symptoms persist you should consult a neurologist for personalized treatment plan.

My 8years daughter suffering from Autism and she is still getting this anxiety issue

Female | 8

I know that Autistic children are much more likely to have anxiety. This condition can cause her to feel worried, nervous, or scared most of the time. Sometimes she may seem restless or have trouble sleeping other times she may avoid things altogether. To help her out you could consider teaching her some deep breathing techniques or even show her how to do relaxation exercises. It is also important for them to talk with a therapist from time to time. Don't forget to give her lots of support and try as much as possible to understand what might be bothering her at any given moment.
