Could My Urethral Pain be Related to Childhood Sexual Abuse?
Hey doc, My name is Bhargav and I am 30, From the last 2 weeks I have had so much of pain in my urethra and the pain starts when I go for urination, and it goes for more than 30 minutes even after urination. no change of color of urine or no smell from urine. No other frequent urination. I have one more condition from childhood, when I was 4 years old I was a victim of Child sexual abuse by my neighbor girl That time. and from then I had so much of pain in my urethra part all of sudden any time during the day, but that pain was gone with time and that pain was different than this pain. but when last year I got married That old pain started in my penis but comes and goes any time in day or night. but it doesn't hurt me when I go for pee. from the last 5 days I have taken Cefixime and PPI, and after taking Cefixime the pain is in control at more than 80 percent but still, it's paining in my urethra while I go for pee.

There is the probability that you have urinary tract infection which is the one causing the pain in your urethra. On one hand, with your background of sexual abuses and current disorders, it is significant to identify sexually transmitted infections like chlamydia and gonorrhea. I would recommend that you visit a urologist or a sexual health specialist to be able to get a proper diagnosing and treatment.
