Hi, my wife has breast cancer, she gone for surgery (breast conservative), then 6 chemos and 32 radiation. Now after one year it came again and we did a biopsy test, she is in the metastatic stage, and ER/PR +(VE) and HER2 (- Ve). Please let me know what treatment should I further do?

Hello, Your wife is having a recurrence of breast cancer. The tests will help in determining the spread and stage of cancer. The suggested treatments are:

  1. Hormone therapy- since the test shows ER/PR+ and HER-ve hormone therapy will be the most considered option.
  2. Targeted therapy.
  3. Bone-building drugs.
  4. Radiation therapy.
