Hii i had cough and cold 6 months back which lasted for around 2 months. Back then i noticed a swelling in the posterior part on the side of neck. Post antibiotics the swelling went down but still a small part remained. it is around less than 1/2 inch in size rubbery doesnt move and no pain or tenderness.

It could be that the swelling at the back of your neck is the enlargement of the lymph node due to your description. Lymph nodes may become enlarged due to an invasion by an infectious agent, including that persistent cough and cold you endured about 6 months ago. You should visit an ENT specialist who can do an additional examination and will advise you comprehensively on how to treat the swelling.
