You likely have gastritis - this is when your stomach lining becomes irritated. Gastritis causes burning pain in your upper belly. This pain occurs when you're hungry, eating, or drinking. Spicy foods, stress, and certain meds could cause it. Avoid foods that trigger the pain. Drinking water may help too. If the pain doesn't go away, visit a gastroenterologist.
