Hello, I am suffering from muscle weakness of hands and legs for 2 weeks. 4 days ago doctor confirmed that I have GBS (AMAN) by NCS and CSF study test. But my physical condition is better than most other patient. I am explaining my conditions to you : - I can walk but slowly and not like normal me - I can stand up from sitting on the bed - I can't stand up from sitting on the floor - I can't stand up from sitting on the sofa - I can lift a highest 500 ml bottle with hands - I can eat like a normal person but I have to give a little pressure in the neck - I can't cough with the full strength My condition is improving a little day by day. Doctor haven't suggested IVIG or Plasma exchange for the treatment. They said I will be cured by only Physiotherapy and Exercise. What are your comments about my physical condition ? Can you suggest me something for that will help me to recover soon ? Thanks is Advance...

This may cause weakness in the muscles of the hands and legs. I am glad that you are getting better. What has been recommended by your doctor is very important- physiotherapy and exercise. These two things can strengthen your muscles and help you regain your ability to move around. Ensure that you strictly adhere to what they say and remember that healing will take time so don’t get tired of waiting.

You experience stuttering, where speaking smoothly feels difficult. Maybe you feel nervous or tired. For some people, stuttering improves on its own, especially children. However, therapies, and techniques exist to support fluent speech. Speech therapy is one option. It's crucial to discuss with a speech therapist or doctor to find the appropriate path for you.

Dizziness past 35days , ent has gvn tablets still dizziness has not stopped

Female | 42

If dizziness persists for over 35 days despite Ent treatment, it's essential to seek further evaluation from a specialist. Consider consulting with a neurologist or another specialist to determine the underlying cause. Avoid triggers and maintain a regular sleep schedule, but consult a professional for a comprehensive assessment and personalized treatment.

A year ago i was hospitalized for a week and was diagnosed with dyskinesia, I had involuntary leg and head movements, I had tics sometimes light headiness and palpitations. After seeing a neurologist I was diagnosed with peripheral vertigo..gave me diazepam but after a week I was told to stop it after I told my physician that I was not walking properly...I couldn't walk in a straight line and that's when she prescribed me a different medication cinnarizine and pyridoxine. Now a year after I find myself not getting better. I'm having difficulty breathing (occasionally), my legs are stiff and I'm having tremors on both of them and on my hands but the right hand and leg are worse, specific movement of the tongue makes me feel familiar symptoms and despite drinking medication I still feel dizzy sometimes especially at night, when I close my eyes or In a dark place. Sometimes I feel stiffness on my hips and start walking strangely, my entire body feels strange..like I get shivers. Sometimes I feel like bending my back outwards sometimes I feel like hugging my knees and staying in that position A month ago I had swelling on my head that I could not understand where it came from it wasn't painful it was itchy and sometimes gave me a headache, I always get red spots which are itchy on both my legs, now I constantly have difficulty breathing. I feel like despite taking the medication I was prescribed nothing is getting better but worse. It's been a year of taking medication and still I'm not getting better.
