What are the hospital charges for post-tracheostomy patient?

Patient's Query

Patient status is post tracheostomy Unable to move hands and leg Ventilator is being used What are the charges to shift in your hospital

Answered by Dr. Babita Goel

When a patient has had a tracheostomy and is on a ventilator, it's important to ensure a smooth transition. The inability to move hands and legs could be due to various reasons, such as prolonged immobilization, nerve damage, or muscle weakness. In such cases, specialized care is necessary to address these issues effectively. I recommend contacting our hospital directly to discuss the specific needs of the patient so he can provide the best possible care.

im facing a problem in which my legs start to become hot for just of 5-10 seconds. Whats the reason behnid this?

Male | 27

Many people feel sudden warmth, called hot flashes. These happen frequently for women, but men can get them too. Hormonal changes or reactions cause hot flashes. Stress, caffeine, or alcohol may trigger them. Staying cool, avoiding spicy foods, and relaxing can help manage hot flashes. If they continues being problematic, speak to your doctor.

I had epilepsy since 2004, reflecting on eyes appearing as red and blue light flashing and double vision further mild headheck and vomiting sensation. At that I am not losing consciousness. Last episode appeared in 2015 . I am using Zonisep tablet 125 MG per day till today. Requested for better medical suggestions in this regard.

Male | 20

I recommend taking the medication as prescribed to you by your doctor. But if you experience any side effects from it or want to go for some other treatment, you can talk to your neurologist. He will suggest some other treatments based on your condition like lifestyle changes, CBT or acupuncture etc. Also, follow-ups is must.

I'm really glad that you've taken the step of turning to professional help for your left hand after you had a stroke. Principal problems might be weakness, decreased coordination, and more trouble in doing your daily activities. The occupational therapy can give you your strength back and improve the functioning through tailored exercises and techniques. It is focused on your skill development in doing practical life activities such as personal care tasks, so your daily life becomes much easier and more fun. My advice is to go an authentic health provider in the rehabilitation department who will open a dialogue to your needs and create an individual treatment plan.

Pain localized to one side of your temple may stem from various factors, including tension, migraines, or sinus issues. Often, accompanying symptoms such as sensitivity to light or sound can indicate a migraine, while pressure around the nose may suggest sinus problems. When Parkinson's is this far along, it's a good idea to get care at a special hospital. The hospital can help manage your dad's symptoms. He might benefit from physical therapy to stay as active as possible. The doctors may change his medications or consider surgery to help him feel better. Before going to the hospital, gather all your dad's medical records. Write down notes about how he's been doing lately. This information will help the doctors understand his situation and make a good treatment plan just for him.

I am 68 years old and I had craniotomy surgery last year due to stroke related diabetes and the numbness had gone but now days it has began I don't feel some parts of my arm I can't even manage to carry something or else it will fall and my legs tend to swell what can I do

Male | 68

These issues could stem from nerve recovery after surgery, or they may relate to circulation and fluid retention. I recommend elevating your legs whenever possible and incorporating gentle exercises to promote circulation. Staying hydrated and reducing salt intake can also help manage swelling. However, it's crucial to discuss these new symptoms with your healthcare provider. They can assess your condition and provide tailored advice.
